The backyard grill: American tradition or potential crime scene?

Canonsburg Mayor Anthony Colaizzo issued an executive order this week banning the use of grills -- propane, charcoal and wood -- after 8 p.m. in this town of 8,825 known for its grandiose Fourth of July parades.

They’ll take my tongs when they pry them from my cold, dead hands. Seriously, any cop who ever tries to arrest me for grilling will risk serious bodily harm.

“PS- Love your tagline.”

Thanks. It perfectly encompasses my love of Chocolate and my loathing of Enviro-Wackos. :)

Crafton’s got bigger problems than banning Bar B Que’s....

Like a collapsing sewer infrastructure that the EPA is going to stop being nice about..... A borough council that is completely inept and alienates every other government agency in the state..... Code Enforcement officers who think they are Gods and generally on a downward trend.

If Crafton doesn’t get its act together soon, it’ll be looking up to Sheraden.

The difference is in the Utah case it was a law passed by the city.

I doubt if there is a "toss 'em in the clink" penalty provision in the Orem lawn watering ordinance. If there is, this city council is nuts. I suppose the lady ticked the officer off and he arrested her for disorderly conduct or some other contrived violation. It was a miscarriage of justice in any event. The city didn't like her watering habits? Fine. Send a water truck over to do the job and send her the bill, don't allow a cop to harass and eventually arrest her. IMHO.

I found some of the anti-grill articles:

Cooking Fuels Pollution NY Times must have had a slow Bush day

Smoke Pollution from Cooking Fires (with lots of moonbat anti-grill links at the end)

I am only limited by my hunting/shopping prowess.
Meat. Fire. Good.

People hate freedom and consistantly vote against it in every election pretty much nationwide. Watch fo this guy to get re-elected next time around or replaced by another statist just like him.

It would fit in mine........so here's the deal, you buy it, have it delivered to my house and then you can use it anytime you so desire :)
