You heard right.
Freeper "pissant" has been in a discussion recently with Sam Hunter, Duncan Hunter's youngest son and a Freeper with the username "Duncan Hunter Ambassador". He was, for a short time, answering questions on behalf of Freepers for a month or so earlier this year until work at the main campaign office became supremely hectic (also, since Hunter's other son returned to active duty, his workload was shifted to Sam).
However, in lieu of the Weekly Answers Thread, Sam Hunter and pissant have managed to arrange something fantastic, with the support of the Jimrob.
In a couple of weeks, a "virtual press conference" will be held here on Free Republic. Before then, Freepers will be able to ask questions for Duncan Hunter to answer. Hunter will answer 15 questions and will relay the answers to Sam or pissant. This will be before the virtual press conference.
pissant will announce the date of the press conference a few days in advance. On the day of the press conference, the 15 questions and Hunter's answers will be posted in a brand new thread.
Here's the best part: Duncan Hunter will remain anywhere from an hour to 90 minutes to chat and converse with Freepers, answering any additional questions they might have. The full details of the press conference are still in the works, but they'll gel together over the next several days.
Any follow-up questions that aren't answered will be answered by Sam in the following days/weeks. They will posted in the same thread as the virtual press conference.
Let's make sure to give them a warm welcome for taking the time to come here and talk with We The People!
LOL! And I thought I wrote long sentences! You’ve got me beaten! Good question, too. ;)
One more question for Duncan Hunter: Who of any of the remaining ‘08 GOP Presidential candidates would you be more than happy to have in a Duncan Hunter administration, and how can all “political correctness” on all of the issues truly be put into reverse until it’s successfully and finally eliminated for everyone and for always? If political correctness can be created by people, then political correctness can also be eliminated by people! Just about every issue out there in the world has some level of “political correctness” in it, and this continues to get even worse for everyone everyday on all of the issues with no end in sight! The world would definitely be a much better place for everyone to be a part of if all political correctness no longer existed.
Very cool
Just doing everything I can to raise awareness of his record and run for Presidency :)

I’m going to have to steal that gif. Nice work. Don’t worry, I’ll credit you!
Thanks Flower. There are more. And there are more with better contributions :)
True leaders attract followers :)
..consider it a gift
I love it!
Thank you!
Excellent work, Walt!
I have been following and supporting Tancredo, Hunter, and lately FRed Thompson (not the other one)as well...
I see that Hunter has been strong on defense, the border, and the FairTax issue, which I have just recently been checking into...Is he for making the ‘W’ tax cuts permanent in the meantime?
Yep.
Congressman Hunter ABC Interview

What impressed me with the interview (the reason I posted it) Georgie asks about deporting illegals (See 3:30). His answer was EXACTLY what I am looking for.....rather than this type of pandering:
youre going to have to, in some way, work out a deal where they can have some aspirations of citizenship.

Thanks for the ping, MountainFlower!
Thanks for getting this together guys. I’m very excited that Duncan Hunter will participate here on Free Republic. It’s wonderful that he wants to hear what the people have to say, and he will answer their questions. It makes me even more proud to be a supporter of him. Please keep us updated on the date of his conference.
Since I’ve always had an interest in social issues, here is a question regarding pornography (it’s probably not near as significant as some of the other questions, but I’ll post it).
What are his thoughts on the further proliferation of pornography into our culture? These stats are of concern:
Every second - $3,075.64 is being spent on pornography
Every second - 28,258 Internet users are viewing pornography
Every second - 372 Internet users are typing adult search terms into search engines
Every 39 minutes: a new pornographic video is being created in the United States
The U.S. brought in $13.33 billion in revenue, and worldwide, revenue was close to $98 billion dollars.

My question is what are his thoughts on the expanding porn industry, and what, if anything, does he think should be done to attempt to regulate or limit this business that makes money by turning our fellow human beings into sex objects?
A simpler question for him would be:
Who was his favorite President of this country or the President he most wants to emulate? Why?
Thanks again, guys.
Just watched the Stepphenopolis interview for the 1st time. He was great, as usual.
Worried porn will be curtailed? ;o)
BTTT I need to get the Duncan Hunter group from Seattle on-line here with us...
I wouldn’t want that. ;-)
Check my profile page. I have a Wash. St. Hunter fan list. Not too big and may not be complete, but its a start.
I have questions. What is Hunter’s plan to deal with Iran and North Korea.
Also, regarding the trade deals that allow other countries to refund taxes paid by their exporters when the deal says we can not do the same with our exporters, are there any countries that are not refunding taxes?
I look forward to listening/reading and learning.
