My Reasoning for confronting Chris Matthews
vanity | 01 July 2007 | trueblackman

Posted on 07/01/2007 3:59:41 PM PDT by Trueblackman

I would have never thought in my wildest dreams that my confrontation with Chris Matthews would be picked up by my fellow Conservatives, but I feel that Matthews peddles disinformation and spin for those who are left of center and over the last four years I have watched with bitterness as those like Matthews have targeted very military that protects their right to speak.

Matthews thought that he would set up Ms. Ann Coulter in an ambush when he had Ms. Elizabeth Edwards to call in and demanded a stop to what she termed as personal attacks against her husband, but her husband and his fellow Liberals have attacked those members of the military who have no microphone or camera to defend their honor and integrity. John Edwards has often spoken about two Americas, but it seems he wants two Americas himself in which he can attack, attack and attack not only their political opponents he disagrees with, but those in the military as well without need for standards or facts.

As a veteran I took it upon myself to speak out for those who are out fighting and dying for this nation. It does not matter that I no longer wear the uniform, the fact remains that no matter where I go and no matter what I do, every veteran and member of the military is my brother or sister and I refuse to allow them to come under personal attacks by those who have never worn uniform or who have chosen politics above their one time oath to protect this nation. Matthews is political spin-master for those types who have always looked down their noses at the military. These were the same types who attacked our brave military members, who fought in Vietnam and sought to shame them into believing that their served was not just or honorable and that in the end they lost the war that they were asked to fight. As the son of a Vietnam Veteran I refuse to quietly standby and allow what happen to my father’s generation to happen to mine as they fight and die in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Mr. Matthews sought to blame the Commander In Chief for the mistakes of a few and this shows just how out of touch with reality he and those like him are to the everyday tasking that falls to those who wear the uniform. If Mr. Matthews feels that the Commander-In-Chief is to blame for everything that has gone wrong in the War on Terror, then Mr. Matthews should file to run for the Office of President of the United States and stop hiding behind the cameras of MSNBC.

Mr. Matthews also showed total disrespect for the service of Congressmen Duncan Hunter, who is a Vietnam Veteran and this was reason enough for me to confront him, but for the wife of a politician to use his show to demand that we afford her husband some type of free pass, while he and those liberals like him attack brave Americans who are doing what he would not do, will not be permitted to happen on my watch and I will continue to confront those like Matthews as long as GOD breathes life into my body for I am a warrior and fighting is what I do best.

It is extremely hard to be good in broadcast media (i.e. a “star”) if the truth is your top priority. The business model of broadcasting does not comport with the way truth plays itself out in human affairs. In broadcasting, they want ready-made gimmicks that keep people agitated, riveted on what they’re seeing, oblivious to its meaning in the universe of causes and effects, and incapable of drawing conclusions and putting the matter to rest. Truth just doesn’t play out that way.

The arrogance and disdain on his face and his body language, mixed with wondering why a man like you would disagree with him, made for an interesting exchange.

With the spittle and gooey mouth foam that chrissy expels during his rants making him seem as rabid and unstable as many liberals, I'm amazed you actually got that close to him. Usually, when confronting an ill animal, one keeps their distance and has the hammer cocked.

Great reveal into the mind of a lunatic, keep tracking the wild-eyed commie bastids, TBM.

What do you expect from a guy who defends Jane Fonda in a vainglorious way when she should of been placed in front of a U.S. military firing squad.

http://www.mediaresearch.org/cyberalerts/2005/cyb20051228.asp

Actress Jane Fonda: “From an historical point of view, they were defending their country. If we had been invaded and an invading force came into this country and divided us in half at the Mississippi River...we would understand why people were fighting....We should never have been there [in Vietnam].” Chris Matthews: “There were a lot of people, Jane, who....can’t imagine slipping out of their American skin, their American soul and becoming so objective, as you just were a minute ago....How do you step out of being an American to make such an objective judgment?” — Exchange on MSNBC’s Hardball on April 15. Fonda was promoting her new book, My Life So Far.

Chris Matthews neglecting to mention there was a 4 million person genocide in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam after we left Vietnam. So sad that the left wing media think its time to relive the good old days.

TrueBlackMan is one of the great FReepers.

He has spoken at Gathering of Eagles II and his voice boomeranged off the Lincoln Memorial, he attend this past Recruiter Appreciation event, and is a regular at the Walter Reed FReep and other FReeps in the D.C. area.

BELOW: TrueBlackMan talking to George from GoE at last Friday's WR FReep. From here, most of the Eagles went to Ft. Mammoth (? in NJ) for a Saturday FReep.

Yup, Sen. TED KENNEDY and his buddy then Rep. JOHN TUNNEY of Riverside CA toured military installations all over a then Free South Vietnam at the very beginning of the Vietnam War. I met both at our 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile Headquarters). Gave my congratulations to a very surprised freshman Rep. TUNNEY on the great TV Coverage NBC News gave him during its 2004 Presidential Innauguration TV Coverage, which was substanstial for a newbe.

KENNEDY was asked by a constituent if the first UC Berkley Anti-War demonstrations were reflective of the rest of the country or just them? KENNEDY told us that it was just isolated to UC Berkley.

All this just 2 years after his brother JFK’s Assasination, a man who I had shaken hands with on the day he was to accept his Democrat Party’s Presidential Nomination.

And all this also long before Sen. TED KENNEDY went “a bit” off the deep end against Freedom for South Vietnam ..and cut off all its military funding from US.

Later the KENNEDY/TUNNEY duo went on to personally collude with the Communist Soviet Union to neutralize President RONALD REAGAN’s plan to actually beat it during the Cold War.

For...
...the Enemy is now Within
...and always has been.

Oop’s, in my ALOHA RONNIE Post No. 156 here please make that...

“..it’s ...1964.. Presidential Innauguration TV Coverage”

...not 2004..!!!

My Post will make a lot more sense that way, perhaps..?
