ARE YOU PREPARED FOR AN EMERGENCY?
Yep, those are bold letters because I need to grab
your attention.
No one likes to think about unpleasant events
happening to us.
No one does.
Really.
God willing, we may never face an extreme
emergency and that is a VERY GOOD thing.
However...
It’s up to you to plan in advance what would you in
case you do face an emergency (natural or manmade).
Preparation may possibly make a difference to any
emergency you may face.
Something to think about.
bray, rodguy is a good guy, why are you beating him up? He’s trying to make a living and the government is getting in the way of it.
Where we are in agreement is that there is a problem and that it has to be fixed. Where we disagree is what will be the most effective way of fixing the problem.
OK, I know I'm making a mistake replying to you, but here goes: the costs are the same.
For the sake of argument, assume farmers do go BK. The receivers operating the businesses are then forced to pay prevailing wages to legal workers. So, while our direct costs of food go up, the indirect costs we're paying in the form of welfare, foodstamps, police, etc (which are reflected in state budget deficits, closed hospitals, overcrowded schools, etc) go down.
The net cost to US is the same.
Many of us defend on this site and talk radio to find the truth. Hillary and Boxer want to silence others who oppose their views. Lott wants to jump in bed with those Dem. Senators so they will like him. It is a foolish move.
Trent Lott puts on his Im jus a good ole boy tone on this morning.
^^^
Oh, do you mean Senator Tren Lott (Toast, MS)?
That is why so many Africans and Kosovans are and want to come into Britain. The way the EU works it is supposed to be the first EU country they enter that sorts it either accept or deports them unfortunately many turn a blind eye and let them go straight through and they end up in Britain. Many are even given tips how to do this in their own country.
Most of the EU people that come in though want to and do work but I still wonder why some of the Brits will not do that work especially when there are many unqualified youngsters out there that are not employed that could do a lot of the jobs that the EU immigrants do do. Is it the parents, the schools the company they keep if young Poles will willingly do the job why will our youngsters not. Money is a too easy answer I believe there is a deeper reason that many of these youngsters feel the world owes them and they are not prepared to work to get it.
Also it is not just the low paid jobs that they are willing to do that the English are not many of the health care jobs go to overseas workers. I know that nurses are not over paid but they still have a living wage and doctors most certainly do get good wages yet so many of the new positions are filled by non British people.
On the other hand the illegals come for the welfare the legals come for the jobs. I still see a problem with both if it upsets the overall balance in the country and more effort needs to put into ensuring those they do come legally are encouraged and even forced to integrate into the British way of life and values.
I’m gonna have to defend Nixon here.
You describe him as true villain.
I’ve never seen him that way. He was a little paranoid, but he had reason to be. That didn’t mean someone wasn’t after him and he knew it.
He went too far in attempting to counter the efforts of an unscrupulous left and he went way to far in covering up what was done.
But Nixon’s deeds, (can you tell me what they were?) not only pale in comparison to what the Clinton’s have done, they are so pale, they disappear entirely.
The Nixon picture in our minds is yet another example of how the media has created an image and, over time, we’ve all started to believe it.
It’s like managing to convince us that Dan Quale was a dumb dork because of an accidental misspelling of potato. I’ve always had trouble with envelope myself!
Nixon made mistakes but he wasn’t a bad president.
Wow, what a great post snugs!
Nice try, after they go bankrupt you bring in new “farmers” who know nothing about farming and the crops fail. Maybe you brought in Rodguy and his Marxist conservative buddies who tried to pay a Living Wage.
Guess what happens next?? Its simple economics really.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Chr!st, were do people like you come from? Hello, there are billion $ class-action lawsuits being launched throughout the country. These civil actions have nothing to do with the criminal justice system. In addition, state/city/local legal initiatives are being established throughout the land. What's the civil liability for these representatives/agents (cops, etc) who fail to enforce these laws?
I've said it over & over again - the key to defeating illegal aliens is civil (citizen) action in the form of class-action lawsuits. Illegal immigration is all about $. Right now, the payoff accrues to facilitators; change the calculus by creating economic incentives to deport, and look how many people will get in on THAT business.
Hey, appropos of nothing, but my yard man has a bigger and fancier house than I do.
(He’s legal, but his brother, not legal, crosses twice a year with no problem whatsoever)
:o)
McCuddy gone? About time!
&&
Doesn’t matter to me since I change channels whenever there is any coverage of Hollywood junk.
You are hopeless.
