Michael Savage, the #3 most listened to talk-show host in America, was honored by Talkers Magazine, the "Bible" of talk radio, with this year's Freedom of peech Award.
Recently, Talkers held a bash at which they presented the award. C-SPAN, which claims to be nonpartisan and nonideological, was there and carried most of the speeches. But for some reason, it blacklisted Savage's speech accepting the award.
Why would a nonideological network do this? More liberal media bias, obviously. C-SPAN has now willingly made itself part of the liberal effort to suppress freedom of speech in this country.
Okay let me correct myself Savage is the #3 ‘CONSERVATIVE’ talk show host in the nation, and I might add conservatives for the most part are a notch above in intellect and independence.
There was a study recently that proclaimed that talk radio listeners are the most informed of all the people and I would also add that the average Savage Nation listener just like myself does not limit himself to listening to just one talk show host with that said C-Span is still a liberal mouthpiece and anyone who daily proclaims that “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder” is not going to get coverage from a bunch of folks who no doubt identify as ‘liberals’.
The Bushbots are parroting the CiC regarding the border; if you're against the illegal invasion, you're a racist!
When did I say he was, or that Bush was the main cause for the 2006 losses? He was a major factor, and RINO and corrupt Republicans were also a major factor. Polls say "dissatisfaction" with Iraq was the biggest factor. Michael Savage was a non-factor. To think otherwise is just delusional.
This is a common misconception. If it were an organ of government, we would have seen more of President Bush over his term. When ex42 was in office, C-Span was saturated with him and his wife. With President Bush, they barely show his major speeches.
C-Span is paid for by the Cable TV owners of America. Think Ted Turner when you wonder why they program the way that they do. President Bush's replays are often listed like TBA or just skipped in the listings. You have to guess that a missed time period might be him.
That is what some of these people don't get about Savage. He has the education. They can't top it. Too bad.
Well last time I checked you're still being pinged daily on the TSN thread, but whatever, glad to see you're still 'in the Savage mix'.
BORDERS!! LANGUAGE!! CULTURE!!
Savage for President!!
Hannity is just plain awful imo. He never has anything intelligent to say, he seems to be imitating Rush, basically. He doesn’t seem to be particularly smart or insightful. He does good on his interviews, but milquetoast other than that.
Ah, the sting of the single entendre.
Howie Carr is smart enough to make all of the issues that he talks about interesting at the national level if he was national. This wouldn’t be a problem for Howie.
True, but it's worse than that. Wheee The People compared him to David Duke, Farrakhan, Hitler, and Mussolini. That's worse than calling him a racist. It's calling him a murderous, tyrannical, totalitarian. Taht is unacceptable and IMO, a violation of community standards around here.
She authored a thread, and it was pulled? News to me! I DO know that on Friday's show, she gave thanks to everyone who got involved in stopping the shamnesty bill, which included Free Republic.
Maybe it's because O'Reilly and Hannity are Irish and Savage is not. LOL!
Here’s how I know you’re wrong. C-SPAN gets about an equal number of complaint calls during WJ from both sides. The really good thing is that when Brian Lamb is the host he no longer suffers such fools.
Thanks. I remember the day that Carter was about to come on. I decided not to watch him.
Thanks for your detailed and in-depth analysis refuting everything I wrote.
How do I refute someone who wonders why C-SPAN doesn’t use Rush Limbaugh as a source?
Rush Limbaugh is a consumer of the news just as you and I are. And, for that matter, just as C-SPAN is a consumer of the news.
Look, you see C-SPAN as biased. That’s your right. When you watch, I believe you watch with an ax to grind. Try it with an open mind.
Don’t look now but C-SPAN is using the WSJ Maliki letter as the backdrop for the call-in topic.
