Have you sent a letter to C-SPAN asking them?

Who knew Savage was so popular. Does anyone have the complete list. Rush and Stern have to be some combination of #1 and #2. Or is Howard out because he is on satellite?
To: TBP
A year ago I thought Savage was another raving talk host.
What he said then, today makes him sound more like a visionary.

Let me guess. Because C-Span is an organ of the government, and Savage often says those three words the government won’t tolerate: Borders; language; culture.

Maybe they had X amount of time and Savage wasn’t as important than the other speakers. The last thing we need is the parody Savage making people think that all Conservatives are as nutty as he.

I heard him say on his show several nights ago that he was going to use sarcasm, ridicule and uhhh, something else, don't recall what, in the acceptance.
Apparently he did.

Last I checked the liberals were trying to revive the Fairness Doctrine with an eye to banning talk radio so it’s no surprise they’d start by denying publicity of any kind to Savage.

I am a huge Savage fan but CSPAN usually doesn’t run entire programs of events like that. I don’t think Savage was necessarily snubbed. As tony Soprano says, “he’s trying to make a molehill outta’ this.”

Howie Carr could join the top “talkers” in the country if only his show would go national!
To: mnehrling
Except that Savage is not conservative (just a liberal in sheep’s clothing).

What do you mean? Did they not show part of the Talker’s convention?
To: TBP
I remember seeing the John Birch Society annual convention on C*SPAN. I have no idea why they didn’t broadcast Savage, but it’s probably not because of his politics.

Savage is a liberal portraying a caricature of conservatives.
Doesn't bother me a bit for him to not get airtime.

I was trying to not start any fires, but you are exactly right! Savage is, and always was, a parody of what the left things conservatives are.

Crazy like a fox, which makes him the most repugnant charlatan preying the airways since Jim & Tammy Faye or Jimmy.

Wow. Conservatives are 8 of the top 10.
Rush, Sean, Savage, Dr. Laura and then some guy I’ve never heard of...
To: TLI
sarcasm, ridicule, and satire
To: ibheath
Agreed. Savage is popular because people are stupid.
