“Counselor: Bush stomach ailment ‘not serious’”
Associated Press - June 8, 2007 4:33 AM ET
HEILIGENDAMM, Germany (AP) -
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Dan Bartlett has told reporters Bush has an upset stomach but he’s not sure if it’s a virus or something the president ate that didn’t agree with him.
Aides say Bush was dressed and about to meet with France’s new president this morning when he realized how sick he felt. A doctor was called, Bush scrubbed an appearance at a summit session and France’s President Nicholas Sarkozy came to see him.
Bartlett says Bush is going ahead with a visit to Poland.”
Sorry...wrong thread.
No, but kind of humorous after the fact, really. ;-)
There was also some tin-foil stuff in there because his dog Millie developed the same symptoms (Graves Disease) around that time.

Oh, okay.
What?
Hope it's nothing serious, Mr. President.
President Pukin’ on Putin Provokes Pun Parody. “G-was it something he 8?”
I too lift Our President up in prayer, with you. May he be protected from anything more serious, and comforted.
No one will be everything that anyone dreamed, nor will they be perfect in the eyes of God or man. Neither will it be with anyone who is President, including President Bush.
He is pro-life; he is pro-war; he is pro-business; he is pro-immigration; he was what he said he would be, and yet, he will be reviled in the gate. Surely there will be many who will join the chorus to condemn him, because he is not all things to all people.
Did he capitulate, as our enemies demanded on 9/11? Did he turn away from the mission, as the media demanded during this long war? Did he surrender, as the haters of America demanded in congress?
Does it mean anything or does it mean nothing?
You wanted a man of stubborn will, a man who would not bow. God sent you what you asked for - if it is a fault, then so be it. In his strength, his weakness will be made known; so it is with us all...
We will fail in some thing, somewhere, perhaps many times - will God count all our successes as dust, because we did not do all that He demanded of us?
Even upon his deathbed, those he denied will spit his name - for he did not do what do what they demanded of him.
But what does the Lord require of him, but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with his God?
Let him seek the Lord’s face, and answer to Christ alone.
It looks like a Buckler, a pretty good non-alcoholic beer.
Heck, the stuff is even named after the nearby country where he's headed next.
< }B^)
Because it's mildly interesting as gossip. And because Mark 2005 mentioned it first, and I thought I'd put it in context.
The president drinking a beer is probably no more important than Paris Hilton being sprung from jail early. It could hardly less important. But if you spend all day every day mulling over serious and important stuff, you get ulcers and high blood pressure. Dumb stories are, in moderation, a nice diversion.
NA beer is legal in Germany?
(Boggle)
Didn’t he shake hands with Putin? I hope someone checked him over with a Geiger Counter....
He drinks non-alcoholic beer, (so do I), and there is plenty of it in Germany with their no-nonsense drinking and driving laws.
NA beer is now common in Germany. Some of it is called “Drive” beer.
