>>Louisiana Democrat faces up to 235 years in prison if convicted on all 16 counts in corruption case |
To: jrooney
MSNBC is the only one refusing to broadcast the press conference.

Where is Nancy Pelosi? I want to see her talk more about the culture of corruption in light of these developments.
To: mickeylee
What the heck took so long!!! I've no idea.
Ask the whingeing self-styled "Constitutionalist" FReepers who were complaining about the Justice raid on his offices.

The prosecutor looks confident and does not have sweat running down his face, unlike Patrick Fitzgerald during his presser.

So they are only reporting this on FoxNews?
Typical of the MSM.
To: mickeylee
They have him on 16 counts in an indictment. It is a large case that they wanted to put together tightly, so he could not get off. Something this large, you do not want to rush. This case is way bigger than Randy Duke Cunningham. This will be the largest case seen in Congress for many years. He will be tried in Virginia and not Louisiana too. He is toast.

I just saw that.
They had 56 people on stage for the announcement, do they need all of them to indict ONE guy?

When the indictment is published, it is going to be a long read.

I would like to see Reid and Feinstein next.

This guy is so unbelievably FILTHY!
To: mickeylee
He wil lbe tried in Virgina and not Louisiana. He is looking at 235 years. One of his associates that has already pled guilty and agreed to cooperate with the feds, got eight years!

I bet she gets that eye twitch again when she has to defend him as part of her “ethical congress” ??

Pelousi is probably preparing a statement claiming credit for stopping the corruption.
The black caucus is sure to have something interesting to say.
