Just when the dust was beginning to settle following President Bush's latest assault on common sense, in which he accused conservatives of "spreading fear" by being honest about amnesty, Senator John McCain decided that fear mongering was not such a bad tactic after all. In fact, McCain decided that fear mongering was essential in trying to sell his amnesty snake oil to a skeptical and increasingly suspicious public.
On June 2, McCain rolled out his fear-based defense of amnesty on the campaign trail in Le Mars, Iowa. Responding to a question about deportation of illegal aliens, McCain delivered the following dilly: "In case you hadn't noticed, the thousands of people who have been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France,'' McCain said. "They've got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police can't even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I don't want that in the suburbs of America.''

Wow, John McCain says we’ll have riots — presumably angry illegals — if we don’t give Mexico everything they want — and Obama says we’ll have ‘quiet riots’ — presumably angry blacks. (Or sulky Big Easy residents, not happy with their lot in life, not enough govt. money.) McCain’s candidacy is dead. Obama’s is losing steam, and doubtless neither knows why. Hint: No voter takes kindly to being threatened.
None of McCain’s rationalizations pass the straight face test.
Rewarding illegals simply leads to more threats the next time they demand something. Why should they pay attention to the rule of law when marching around yelling threats gets them what they want? McCain has lost his mind.
Police presence in bad neighborhoods could lead to police casualties, does that mean the police shouldn’t be around there?
McCain’s gone completely cuckoo for coco puffs.
After reviewing both video's, President Bush seams to believe in Aztlan. However, Aztlan doesn't believe in America.
These days are the beginning of the end of the United States. The United States in becoming balkanize. Aztlan can become a divided and hostile territory in the future thanks to President Bush policies.
John-—— I really think we can deal with a bunch of hoodlums.
I don’t want that in the suburbs of America.’’
Dont worry John, “we have Guns Here in the “Burbs”
and If they Riot in the Citys,,,then you will have them rounded up all in one place, how easy is that??
No, not yet. But when the illegals start burning cars, there soon will be.
May the riots begin! (in McCains home town)
you loot, we shoot. That’s where we’re different from the French. How can anyone support this guy?
McInsaine is showing his kook yellow livered colors. He is a pacifist. Viet Nam turned him into a pacifist. Viet Nam turned him into a coward.
McCain just gave away the last shreds of his hopes for the Presidency. Do we really need a fear monguring person such as he as President? No
Yep, lack of money and shelter always gets them. It sure would dry the problem up and quickly.
Disgusting people.
It's obvious how well that policy has worked for them! (sarcasm)
Trying to scare us might be more like it.

There may well be riots if we don't pass immigration "reform". But if that is true, then riots are likely inevitable no matter what we do; the longer we wait before working to remove the invaders, the worse the riots will be when they do occur.
Thus, even if McCain is right in a small part of his statement (riots may occur), he's absolutely wrong in the conclusion he draws.
“McCain just gave away the last shreds of his hopes for the Presidency. Do we really need a fear monguring person such as he as President? No”
We were all so sure of this a year ago, weren’t we?
Wow!

I agree completely. It is simply amazing that people that live in a free country are allowing it to be given away like this.
I am so disgusted. It makes me physically ill everytime I think about the three candidates we have.
