Hispanics, 1 percent of the population in 1950, are now 14.4 percent. Their total number has soared 25 percent since 2000 alone. Half the children 5 and younger in the United States are now minorities. Demography is destiny.

“Fact is you could never have done some of the jobs that Mexicans are doing. Not because you don’t want to but because you are a woman and can’t lift those weights and you were not available during school hours.”

That right there has to be one of THE most eletist...snobbish...arrogant not to mention completely WRONG things I’ve ever seen put in a post in all my years here at Free Republic.

Since they sent sent a million back to Mexico there must be some enforcement. Deportation is like shoveling sand into the ocean.

Well actually the “Illegals” they most complained about were primarily Eastern European. Substitute Pole for Mexican and you have about the same things said there as you do here as there.

The ones they are most afraid of, however, would be the Islamistics.

“Deportation is like shoveling sand into the ocean.”

Speaking of that “Red Herring” argument you mentioned.

Deportation is like shoveling sand into the ocean.

Yep. That's why border security should be Job #1.

The issues stand for themselves...

I use humor all the time....hence the nic eeevil conservative to begin with...

I don’t BASH him....I don’t RIP him.... I don’t HATE him...

when I discuss the border issue- and the NAU, I call him Jorge...if that makes someone not want to get the facts of the issue at hand, that says more about them than me.

When I discuss Iraq- I give him respect...but when I discuss this bill- and his agenda for NAU- he does not have my respect.

again— I am issue based, not fan-based....

I respect your problem with it- but I am comfortable with it.

Agreed that Newt has problems lately, but I thank him for his indecisiveness re: his presidential plans, which I believe opened the door for Fred Thompson. Conversely, Thompson will shut the door for Newt.

Don't count on it.

If Thompson enters the race, and if it appears he is gathering sufficient genuine conservative support to threaten the globalist agenda which is being implemented, then Newt will probably enter as a "spoiler", to muddle, split and neutralize that conservative momentum.

Without getting into pointless quibbling about what constitutes "genuine" conservatism, understand that Thompson's conservative attitudes (whether 'moderate', milquetoast or whatever flavor you choose to label them) are genuine. He really believes them. Gingrich, on the other hand, is a "designated conservative". His job is to play one on TV...

Okay, then what’s this New Deal? If it’s an online poker site, could someone please provide a link. Thanks.

You might try http://www.ssa.gov

That's not quite an online poker site - maybe more like a Ponzi game.

Excellent post!

I believe I posted one very similar earlier in the thread.

The elite billionaires in Mexico definitely are the ruling class and what they say goes.

Their biggest headache is the poor, hungry, homeless Mexicons and to think that they will stop exporting this headcahe to "us" is very naive.

And to think that the Mexicon govt. is not helping all this happen is also equally as naive.

Right on the mark there Johnnie and because of the EU we can do little about the Polish problem because we did not put limits on when they first came into the union.

I believe the government has now done so with Bulgaria to stop the same thing happening.

Basically because the Poles are thought of a very patriotic bunch they did not think they would migrate here in such numbers. I live in Ashford Kent and I can tell you they are far and away now the largest group of immigrants in this area far outweighing the Kosovans and other Islamic people.

I agree though the people we are afraid of it is the Islamics but numbers wise Poles and slovaks/checs are out numbering them.

No it just the usual bully tactics. That is how they use to operate on the Immigration threads back in 2003 and 2004. They think if they gang up on any “heretic” they can simply chase any but the true believers away. Don’t seem to grasp the fact that the people on this thread live to debate this stuff.

First of all— you are WRONG again... I don’t clean toilets now because of other reasons...

but you know NOTHING about what I make or don’t make.

so— would you like to stop attacking me>
you are 3 for 3 now on your assumptions on me being wrong..

would you like to go for 4?

I am not paid for my skills accordingly... because I am still raising 3 kids alone with no support and I can only work certain hours... meanwhile- Dead Beat Daddy is working construction with the illegals so he can’t be found to pay child support....

so there is your great “illegal” working program for you you— it also helps Dead Beat parents escape the laws, and keep my kids without their father let alone support.

So- are you going to continue to throw your accusations at me- or are you going to try and maybe apologize- I never deserved any of the crapt you shoveld onto me...

oh— and not to mention— bottom line is that I should NOT HAVE HAD TO go through that- and my children should not have HAD to go through that so that businesses can have cheap labor and politicians can fill their coffers with business owners money.

are we done yet?

So who do you figure the Democrats will hype to be the “third party” spoiler to make sure Hilly wins? Looks like they were trying to groom Bloomberg for it but he is way too far left to hurt a Conservative candidate.

“Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither”

Here’s my response to that vague generalization:

“Those who sacrifice common sense for perceived liberty possess neither.” (me)

This is better:

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” — Wendell Phillips

Even better:

“God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it.” — Daniel Webster (1834)

AMEN!

But Dead Beat Daddy does those things... right there with the precious illegals....untouched by law enforcement in any way....

amazing what people will do or say to defend cheap labor... that same cheap labor gets there medical bills paid for and children educated by the tax payer— instead of the employer.....

AMAZING!
