Romney's change of heart may be geniune. The timing (2004? 05? does raise the eyebrows a little.
My beef with Romney is on immigration and just the fact he seems a little too slick.
Whoe is the guy who looks/sounds like Gore? Is that Brownback? I just read about these guys, don't watch much TV (am streaming the debate)

Yes he does The reason Congress is rated so lowly is NOT because there is not enough “niceness” there - it is because most Americans see Congress as totally corrupt.

According to the Assault Weapons Ban, my Glock 21 with its HiCap magazine is an "assault weapon". I don't plan on giving it up.

Why? You want to carry an assault weapon? The "assault weapon" is a red herring.

Janet Reno’s definition of “assault weapons”??? Last time I checked, a weapon by itself can assault no one.

At least he doesn’t duck his own stand on something which is more than we can say about Guiliani. If someone is forthright at least you know what you are getting. And just because he supports it doesn’t guarantee it happens. The president is not the be all end all of any legislation. He is only a small part.

I was looking at Huckabee, I am not now.
He is speaking the truth. The roads in Arkansas were the worst in the country and we had school districts still using Windows 95 on the one computer they had.

The Senator from AZ for the last 20+ years just said we need to secure the border. Despicable.Saying it and not showing any promotion in doing so in the last 20 years is despicable.

Brownback just used the phrase “pulling us together” as well in supporting comprehensive immigration reform. He leaves out the part where democrats will cut funding to the enforcement while the guest worker/amnesty program legalizes millions of illegal immigrants. Just like in 86

I understand your position. I’m still looking for candidate C: Pro-life and a strong stance against terrorists.
You are right, no cut and run Republicans. America’s got too many of those in the RAT party.
