Perhaps he was referring to Jimmy Carter’s US foreign policy in the Middle East.

I believe that it would be correct to say that it did make the world less safe and helped facilitate 9/11.

I fear the actions of our own government worse than that of the islamofasists, do they not already steal 40% or more of our income? Islamofascists have no chance of defeating us militarily, we can only defeat ourselves through ever expansive government and ever expanding restrictions on freedom. I happen to think socialism, statist education, and through the roof taxes and regulations are more of a threat than a few stone aged fanatics.

I hardly think such a position is extreme or merits such an emotional reply.

Hmm, let’s see...Romney signed an assault weapon ban in Massachusetts that it appears the NRA had no real issue with. Apparently, they must not be able to define what an assault weapon is either, right? Are you more pro-2nd Amendment than the NRA? Just curious.

Why are you so loath to admit that the US’ foreign policy in the Middle East made the world less safe and helped facilitate 911?

Because you’re an idiot?

ROTFLMBO!

“Aside from tossing Israel to the wolves, how EXACTLY do you and Ron Paul suggest we ‘defuse our attacker’s appeal.’”

To start with, how about we stop funding and propping up militarily the governments that repress democracy in the region? Oh, wait, too simplistic. I should have us invade Iraq instead and just expect the other governments to BECOME democracies. That would be more realistic.

I have also heard Sean Hannity say he is Libertarian, but not for quite some time now.

I wonder if he is on the road to Damascus?

Great answer.

re: pro-life comment up thread

Exactly. We have seen legalized murder through our courts way before Dr. Jack and Schiavo.

My mother was in Hunter’s district. She says he’s mean.

That means he doesn’t have a chance of winning.

If its our job to attack aggressor nations then why didn’t we attack the Soviet Union or China? Why do we only attack nations when its politically expedient for the President in office at the time? Why aren’t we trying to occupy all of Africa right now?

The answers to your three questions clearly show that the U.S. does not engage in a "global policing policy."

Falwell was Conservative...but he didn’t do anything near as great for the Conservative Movement as Rush.

Uh wrong. He, Paul Weyrich, Ed McAteer, and Howard Phillips, put together the political Conservative Grassroots movement which help put Reagan in office and set the course for 1994 wins for the GOP. This crossed all political party lines uniting Conservatives. That feat has not been matched or equaled by anyone or any group in the Conservative movement. The 1994 GOP wins were earned because the GOP ran Conservative. Just the same as they are losing for abandoning it.

“Ahh yes the “I know you are but what am I” defense. Pathetic. You can’t even admit that Ron Paul is a “truther” who about two hours ago just said tht the U.S. brought 9/11 on itself. So why then should I take to heart any of your baseless claims that I lack understanding of anything happenig on this thread? I shouldn’t...therefore I won’t.”

Snore. More of the same blather about how you’re right because I’m wrong. I’ll lose precious seconds of nap time over that spirited, logical argument.

“Party hack? Hardly. Ad highly hypocritical coming from someone wearing the cheerleader skirt and pom poms of RINO Ron Paul.”

RINO? I’ll take that label over “party hack” any day. At least being a RINO in this sense means not being fool enough to follow the party over a cliff and support a Rudy because people like you say it’s ‘unpatriotic’ not to.
