“I’ve listened to Rush since 1991...what he was saying then is what he is saying now”

I’ve listened to Rush since 1990...

and yes Rush has not changed his stand on things...

No, I simply don't have a skewed view of the spectrum of American political views.

I'm to the right of Rudy. You are to the right of me. Rudy is in the middle with most of the American people. Most of the Democrat leadership is now to the left of Stalin.

I hope I don't have to choose between him and Hillary but that would be easier that a choice between Ron Paul and Hillary.

Don't be surprised by someone thrown in at the last minute, into the mix, to throw things off!

I'm looking forward to it! But I do like Tancredo's conversion on the way to Damascus, not Des Moines comment very well.

The Ron Paul suckups on this thread will be along shortly to deny that he ever said that.

As a Ron Pal supporter, it was not a good night for Ron Paul. He's right on more issues than he is wrong on. He doesn't look presidential like Duncan Hunter, and though world meddling should be reined in, we were attacked on 911 for no good reason and he did not handle the Rudy retort well to the point of fading out of the race. Just few more comments: it was disappointing to hear Romney liking NCLB. It tells me he doesn't believe in the constitution and picks and chooses how big the federal governmetshould be based on how he feels. Tancreto nailed it on Islam being the problem where their Koran tells them to attack us. McCain's answer on Immigration was right up there wit RPs Rudy response. Toast. Duncan Hunter looks better and better. Rudy is a know it all creep and I hope it's not him in the end.

Hannity is an empty-minded shill. Those damn Freedom concerts he produces and the fact that he gives hundreds of thousands of dollars to help send children of fallen soldiers to college is the epitome of mindlessness.

Yeah, and Mussolini got the trains to run on time.

Just because someone does some good things, doesn't mean he's incapable of being a political pimp--which is exactly what Hannity is doing. Because he's trying to make the GOP become a liberal party, I will no longer listen or watch anything he's on. He's damaged good as far as I'm concerned--a slime-bag that used his audience share to pump up a candidate who should be nowhere in this race.

“I didn’t leave the Democrat party...the Democrat party left me” - Ronald Reagan explaining why he changed from Democrat to Republican.

Yea he said that. And there are many in here who were DEMs up till either Reagan or 1994. Some even voted for LBJ. I wasn't among them. I did stop voting for straight party tickets though after Bob Dole's 1996 fiasco.

Note something here. A man who for most of his life was a DEM died today about noon. He was responsible for or co-founder of the largest Conservative grassroots movement of the century. His other co-founders was an Independent, and two Republicans. The movement brought conservative votes across party lines.

Tonight a man many have never heard of gets national coverage just as he did a week ago in the other debates and in nationwide polling is scoring high in the polls in his performance in the debate. That means he has attracted Conservatives from three venues GOP. DEM, and Independent. The RNC would be wise to listen to what he has to say lest they find themselves again rejected next election.

If by answer you mean point out the glaring flaws in the “US should be policing the world” theory, then yes...

Making it up as I go? You can read my freeper homepage. I’m for fighting a war, not a police action. I think continuing what Bush has begun is simply leaving the White House to the left. The American people won’t accept a war we’re not fighting for an unconditional victory in, but isn’t willing to do what it takes to win any more...or we’d have freed Israel’s hands a long time ago.

...besides Rudy has promised he would nominate judges who are conservative

And you actually believe him???? His record clearly shows he would not.

I did answer your question.

Really? Can you provide a link to your answer, please? Below is the question again:

Who do you consider to be "a far right winger?" Please define "far right winger."

EV is an absolute, frothing-at-the-mouth, twisted, demented loon when it comes to Romney.

I have one word for you: Schwarzenneger. Some FReepers have been burned in the RINO fires and are hell-bent to avoid it again. Try to understand.

Ahh yes the “I know you are but what am I” defense.

Pathetic.

You can’t even admit that Ron Paul is a “truther” who about two hours ago just said tht the U.S. brought 9/11 on itself.

So why then should I take to heart any of your baseless claims that I lack understanding of anything happenig on this thread?

I shouldn’t...therefore I won’t.

Party hack? Hardly. Ad highly hypocritical coming from someone wearing the cheerleader skirt and pom poms of RINO Ron Paul.

>>>>>No, I simply don't have a skewed view of the spectrum of American political views.

So being a conservative means I have a skewed view. LOL

I'll stick with conservatism and leave Rooty and his liberalism for the likes of you to support.

We lead or they lead

Leaders can either lead by earning respect or by being tyrants and rule by decree. We are coming close as a nation to the second choice.

“Gun laws will be up to the state . They wont change if Rudy wins or any other republican for that matter .”

The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution isn’t a states rights issue.

Why are you so loath to admit that the US’ foreign policy in the Middle East made the world less safe and helped facilitate 911? That doesn’t mean that we deserved it or that we shouldn’t fiercely fight back, but we should take note that our actions can have unintended consequences.

Really was more impressed with Hunter than anyone else. Especially on the Iraq question. I watched about half the tax questions and then had to leave.

You haven't been listening. Ron Paul says President Bush should have apologized to the families of the 9/11 hijackers for compelling their wonderful sons such desperate measures, and pulled our companies and military out of the Middle East forewith.

And then President Bush should have admitted that he personally put bombs in the WTC and building 9 and blew them up himself.

I for one am Pro-Life, always have been. But when push comes to shove, it is going to be between Hillary and........... whoever, and I will vote for anyone besides her or any Dim.

Then you're not pro-life. Voting for a pro-abortion Republican in the general election will result in two pro-abortion parties in the US. If you truly care about the Pro-life issue, you'd realize that one election is not worth the destruction of the only party that's even marginally pro-life.

Someone who votes for a candidate like Rudy Giuliani--who is unapologetically pro-abortion, and has donated to pro-abort activist groups--can not be called pro-life.
