What sucks is that Duncan Hunter gave a good interview, and then Ron Paul comes along with the clown show and ruined it.

I’ve been to Europe quite a few times and can second that. The local news in Europe is ridiculously anti-American even when compared to CNN/ MSNBC. I think that it’s mainly due to envy on the part of the elites.

The Ron Paul suckups on this thread will be along shortly to deny that he ever said that.

That is a standard Hannity tactic. I like Sean, but I hate when he interrupts the people he is interviewing.

After 9/11, who do you think Congress should have declared war against?I wish I could access my September and October 2001 posts!
Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia, obviously.
This still has to be done, and it has become immeasurably more difficult.
On September 16, 2001, Congress would have given the President the forces needed to conquer, occupy, and reconstruct our enemies. The President chose instead to fantasize that our enemies were our friends, and that Arabia and Pakistan were simply waiting for a military demonstration in order to rally to our side.
This was false, and the war which is surely coming finds us much less prepared, and weaker, than we were in 2001.
Pakistan must be dissolved. Saudi Arabia must be abolished, the Hejaz returned to rational authority and the oil returned to its rightful owners.
This will eventually happen - if they don't win the war first.

There is a method, its a resolution entitled a declaration of war stating the nation we’re at war with. What we do now, which is not Constitutional, is give the President vague authority to attack those who he feels should be attacked.
Its supposed to work like this. Congress decides who to attack, then the President carries out Congress’ mandate. The President isn’t Commander in Chief until the military is called into ACTUAL SERVICE (Article II Section II).
I’m not letting Congress off the hook, I’m trying to put Congress on the hook by making it give a solid declaration or else NO WAR.

Poor ol' Sean about lost it. And he clearly stated the new 'conservative' position. Intervention into other nations whose tyrant may be mistreating his people. Forget threat, we're supposed to be the world's policeman. And people wonder why Republicans are losing votes. Guess Sean will be getting a group up to go into Africa to fix all those problems? Wonder if he'll lead it or just stay back here and be a commentator....

I have heard plenty of spin from the Rudyites that anyone opposing Bushs latest strategy must believe that, but one only needs think for a second to realize that Bushs war plans arent the ideal and havent been since Mission Accomplished.
You and Paul deserve each other. He sounds like a Cindy Sheehan root cause acolyte and you sound like Hillary Clinton. Ron Pauls war plans? Bend over and hope the islamonuts pass you by.

Next debate should only include the Top Six. Don't agree with your analysis, but I do agree with your rules for the next debate.

Has anyone told this misguided soul about the Tripartite Agreement yet?

Romney didn’t stand out as much this time around as the first. I wish he hadn’t said that about assault weapons. I will have to take another harder look at him now and I had already taken a position of supporting him. I still think that overall he has the best background to be President.
Giuliani didn’t humiliate himself and in fact brought hope to the hearts of Rudyites everywhere.
Ducan Hunter did very well, but he doesn’t have the organization, money, name recognition or executive experience to carry him across the line.
McCain was much better this time around! He is absolutely right about torture. The reason is an American commander can in no way let out that he looks favorably on torture in any circumstance, because the situation with those under his command will spin out of control in short order.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Wrong answer.
Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq were the main ones involved.

They were responses to your Romney fellow-travelers lies. Live with it. Why don't you find a way to tie it into the actual topic of the thread - the debate, instead of hitting 'copy/paste'? A real-time debate thread isn't a forum to pimp your candidate or attack particular candidates with prejudice.

Regardless of what Paul's views are, that was an offensive interview.

There is NO method or madness in the United States Constitution for declaring war.You seem to know the U.S. Constitution better than that so-called expert Ron Paul.
