Sorry Senator, but we’ve already seen what happens when our soldiers are captured. Our kind treatment of terrorists didn’t help them.

McCain thinks if we treat the terrorists kindly and not torture them, they won’t continue lopping off the heads of captured military. What a bozo!

Tommy Thompson gave an inappropriate example of Ronald Reagan’s “trust but verify”! He either doesn’t understand it or just wanted to use a Reaganism.
McCain: “I say let the guy finish raping Kitty Mondale then we will ask him what that was all about.”

Hey McCain I server in the USMC, and I can tell you that the enemy of our country these days will not hold back because we treat their prisoners well. The last time that happened was maybe Germany in WWII. That’s it.... Look at the rest of our enemies. Do you think any of them gave a dam?

Romney: "Roe v. Wade has gone so far as to cheapen the value of human life." He sounds like he might get it. Too bad his record doesn't reflect it.
You are wrong.
His record reflects EXACTLY that.
To: Chuck54
McPain's remark basically saying if we torture, the terrorist will torture is pure nonsense. He lost me....not that he ever had me. ;)

He did not dodge the abortion question. I think he did--a couple times. The transcript will tell for sure.

Bingo Duncan!
And McCain is full of it...he makes a braod sweeping statement that all retired servicemen who have served in combat agree with him. BS.

For the life of me I can't figure out why you are so afraid of a law abiding citizen with a firearm. Who's afraid of YOU? Certainly not me. Spend all night cleaning your guns for all I care.
But you, Mame, are not the ones killing people.
So, how many innocent lives should we sacrifice for your right to carry whatever weapon you choose? One? Two? Twenty? 1000?
And if you maintain your right to carry any weapon whatsoever...how do we balance the safety scale for those who choose not to carry in kind?

Romney and Paul drove off the cliff tonight. McCain showed rust and is the author of McCain-Feingold. Rudi equivocated but "recovered" with a cheap shot against Paul. Tommy Thompson and that VA governor guy wasted space and time. Tancredo and Brown failed to inspire. Duncan Hunter sounded like Buchanan on China and free trade.
I hate to complain, but bring on the shadow candidates Fred and Newt!

I’ll be honest I hadn’t heard much out of Hunter before tonite...now I understand why the DBM has gone out of the way to avoid him.
He’s good.
Umm Sen. McLame...what the enemy is doing to us is leaving mutilated...booby trapped bodies on the field of battle that sometimes take 24 hours to secure and for the EOD teams to remove the bombs from.
And that’s when they’re not cutting our heads off.
Senator...the world of combat is FAR different for those of us who put boots on the ground as opposed to a navy Blackshoe like you who saw combat from 30,000 feet.
