Who's afraid of YOU? Certainly not me. Spend all night cleaning your guns for all I care.
But you, Mame, are not the ones killing people.
So, how many innocent lives should we sacrifice for your right to carry whatever weapon you choose? One? Two? Twenty? 1000?
And if you maintain your right to carry any weapon whatsoever...how do we balance the safety scale for those who choose not to carry in kind?
Yeah, that whole "freedom" thing can be dangerous. Let's just chuck it to be on the safe side.
You don't, you will become just another target.

As you stated, you aren't worried about him (or presumeably other law abiding citizens), so why do you care what he carries?
As for the criminal who might carry, he isn't going to care if the gun he chooses is banned by some gun grabbing anti-constitutionalist.
Just deal with it. You're position is not logical, and certainly not constitutional!
And if you maintain your right to carry any weapon whatsoever...how do we balance the safety scale for those who choose not to carry in kind?
Cars kill far more people than guns...should we outlaw them too? After all, how do we balance the safety scale for those who choose to drive small cars when I drive an SUV? See just how idiotic you sound?
It was settled at the founding of this country. As much as you wish the 2nd amendment is as much part of the BOR as the other 9. Now. The real problem you have is you think that gun control will do something for the problem you see. It will and does not. And I would rather live free and not have the perfect security you think will come about with gun control or bans. It is a lie. We could all live very secure in a police state but I do not choose to live that way nor do I want to live in such a society. Just think of the lives that could be saved if we had no due process, no right to not be forced to testify aganist ourselves, double jeopardy. Getting rid of those things would do more to get to your utopia but I would not want to live there with you. You want to be like the boy in the bubble. Me I want to be free.
The "safety scale" of those who chose not to carry at V-Tech was zero. - And your claim that certain types of weapons should not be carried is simply irrational.
Your contention that large bore short barreled weapons, - along with automatic weapons, - are somehow more 'dangerous' than ordinary handguns is misinformed Brady bunch hype.
Mojave, - here's another majority rule/anti-gun acolyte for your little group.
