Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.
This week we take a look at one of the most famous Canteens of WWII.
May God go with your son and his fellow soldiers as they search for those missing . May they find them soon..and return safely.
I am so grateful for their service to our country and to me.
I am grateful for their supportive loved ones,too.
May God comfort all who mourn.

SoldierDad, prayers for Robert. I'm thinking this is one of those times that two sets of footprints in the sand turn into one. God speed to Robert and brothers.
Please let us know when you hear of his safe return.

the little soldier boy was from Grants Pass Oregon and the the little Sweetheart was from Kearney just east of North Platte. They did indeed meet while the troop train was stopped in North Platte during 1944, and remained happily married for almost 60 years residing in Grants Pass.
That little bit information came to light one day while My girlfriend and I were watching rodeo on TV one day and I mentioned something about watching “Chuck Wagon Races” at Wild West Days in North Platte, and she told me the story of her mom and dad.... But my MOST favorite place there “OLE’s Big Game Lounge in Paxton. Adults would belly up to the bar for beer and Burgers and us kids would marvel at all the stuffed critters........ http://www.olesbiggame.com/

Oh Lord, please protect this fine father’s brave warrior son and his fellow soldiers. Please put a hedge of protection around them, shield them with Your might, comfort their worried families, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
