FREQUENT FLYER Word out of the House Democrat leadership is that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is not only having her staff make plans for a trip to Venezuela to meet there with dictator Hugo Chavez, she has also asked staff to apply for a visa to travel to Tehran.
"She is getting bad advice from people back home in San Francisco," says a leadership aide, who is working for one Pelosi's colleagues. "She is not getting it from members of her leadership team. That's all anyone here is willing to say."

Misunderstood you Marsapan. I thought you meant she would be voted out of office - not going to happen.
I agree with you both that dhimmicrat Pelosi should be prosecuted for treason. That won't happen though - no 'nads for this kind of thing in the Bush admin. Heck, they've done nothing (but a slap on the wrist) about Sandy Burglar for stealing top secret docs. Or how about slick Willie and his pardons for cash? They didn't even investigate that!

I wish she'd pay a price for this...I wish her party would pay a price for this. But she won't and it won't. She'll slide with the liberal teflon with the help of the media and our suddenly war-weary pacifist society.
The Dems always play for the short-term gain, because all politics is short term. And right now, they have polls that keep telling them that this stuff will work for them and that beating Bush with this "Imagine" stuff (John Lennon idiot reference there) is a winner for them. And Bush is a supremely easy target after being villified for 7 years.
Their polls are telling them the population wants to go back to Clinton small-bore politics...make nicey nicey with everyone, make everything in that nasty foreign arena go away [with deals!] for awhile, and get back to figuring out how the government can force your nasty boss to give you a 4-10 arrangement so you can get three days off to take your daughter to soccer practice.
She and her party will get away with it.
