Every Thursday at the Finest |
I missed this pretty welcome yesterday but I sure like it, Billie!
That is so cute, the rabbits and chicks~~~~
I love it, too!
Darling little kitty wishing “good wishes”~~~~~
The pictures of the cat and mouse are amazing! But sweet as pie!
Billie, you sure had a lot of pictures and darling graphics today and I enjoyed all (from yesterday and today)....thanks again for your very good work!
G.B., the little puppy graphic is so cute. I enjoy these things so much.
Hey DD - it sure has been awhile! Rusty and Muffy are probably chasing bubbles together somewhere across that Rainbow Bridge... :-)
Mama Bear, Chauchi is a precious little dog and very smart. I viewed all the pictures and she/he (I didn’t notice) is just darling. My mom was in a Nursing Home a while before she died and they would bring these different dogs and all of those little patients would be excited to death just to touch an animal. Congratulations on the good work!!
Another awwwwwwwwww~~~~~~
Awwwwwww!!!!!!!!! What a kittie!!!!!!

The funny thing is, when the babies leave the nest, they actually can’t fly well enough to escape predators. It was still a couple weeks before they could fly up to the fence and a couple more weeks before they could fly from tree to tree. In the meantime, the parents kept feeding and caring for them. I am surprised the babies survived the neighborhood cats, but they spent a lot of time hanging out under the oleanders, and one of the babies, two years later, still comes to the yard for peanuts. He is so tame that he will take them out of my hand.
It was such fun watching the babies grow up, but I would prefer they built their nest in someone else's yard. Then I don’t end up feeling responsible for them.
Thanks for the photos of yours. Hope they all grow up to be beautiful healthy adult jays. :-)
Thanks Billie.
What cute little puppies in that graphic. Gosh, I want them all. Good thing I don't live on a ranch, I'd be overrun with warm fuzzy critters. LOL
Thank you, Maj. Yep, Chachi has quite a sense of humor, doesn't he?
On May 6th you will be fully back to FR? That's great! That's also my wedding anniversary. 40 years with the same wonderful man! :-)
Hey, Amy! Wasn’t it a beautiful day in our valley today? I am so happy to have warm weather here, finally!
I'm thinking about getting a puppy to go with the dachshund wardrobe I have packed away.

I don't know what to think about that!

Yes, it was long past time for him to go. I sure hope that little girl, his number one fan, survived him being voted off. Wasn't she something?

((((Cool beans re: Anni the day I chose for Full throttle FR return!
I’ll remember!!
Couldn’t pass up replying to that special news!))))
I think I read somewhere that elderly people who are able to be around cats and dogs are much healthier. Their blood pressure is lower and they are just generally happier, healthier people.
Many of them at Twin Oaks told me all about the the dogs they have had and how much they miss them. Sad that they can't have a little dog or cat at the assisted living center. But, obviously, it's not possible. Many of the residents can't care for themselves, let alone a pet.
