A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Good morning to all the Finest. Love your Warm and Fuzzy pledge and ping graphic, Billie.

I will be tied up most of the day with family "stuff", but wanted to post a link to a website with photos that I set up featuring the smartest, sweetest, cutest dog in all the world. (ALL Finest pups and kitties are the smartest, sweetest and cutest, aren't they?)

We are so proud of our little Chachi. Many of you know he received his AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate recently. He can now go into rest homes, convalescent hospitals and assisted living centers and visit with folks. For his "debut" we took him to see his gramma and her friends at the assisted living complex where she lives. Click the picture below.....

Thanks for allowing me this indulgence on Warm Fuzzy Wednesday at the Finest. Showing off my puppy is just something that I can't resist. :-)

Thanks, Kitty Mittens. Yes, as you can see, Chachi takes his "Canine Good Citizen" job very seriously. He's such a funny little guy. He makes us laugh all the time.

Just got back from Vet. My dog had a bad anxiety attack yesterday and I was so worried we almost went to Doggy ER last night but she finally calmed down. I have no idea what caused it. It's nothing she ate. I make her food. She is doing well now. Sleeping next to me. Have A Wonderful Day!

Thanks, GeeBee. It is very therapeutic for older people to be able to interact with dogs and cats. Many of my MIL's friends at Twin Oaks used to have pets and miss them so much. In fact, there are a bunch of stray cats that come to the patio at mealtimes because the old folks insist on slipping food to them, even though they have been asked not to.

Yes, that is a car seat made especially for dogs. You can't really tell in the photo, but there is a strap that connects to his collar, so he isn't just loose in there. He can turn around and lay down, but most of all he can see where he is going. We got it at PetsMart.

Thanks, MEG. Yes, all the ladies seemed to enjoy his visit. I was surprised that the few men who came to the recreation room during Chachi’s visit kind of hung back in the dining room. They could see and hear some of what was happening, but they seemed a little embarrassed to be participating for some reason. Or, maybe they just didn't want to be surrounded and outnumbered by so many women. LOL.
