Just got back from Vet. My dog had a bad anxiety attack yesterday and I was so worried we almost went to Doggy ER last night but she finally calmed down.

Oh, my goodness! Has this happened before? Sure hope it doesn't happen again. I know how upsetting it is to know your dog is in distress and not knowing what to do or how to stop it. If they could only tell you what is wrong.....

Drats, I just read and she is just a little too big for this. :( It has encouraged me to look further into it. I posted them a while back. When I get to my other computer, I will post another. She’s a Dachshund Terrier mix. :)

Glad your doggie is OK.. My son and DIL have a sweet dachshund..I enjoyed it when they brought her with them for Thanksgiving.

They might have larger car seats available, don’t know. Hope you find something that works for your pup. We love ours.

It’s is an absolute bummer they can’t talk to us to tell us what they need. I don’t know what caused this. She’s a nervous dog. We got her from a rescue when she was a puppy and she had been abused. She has quirks but this was very unusual. She’s the sweetest dog. The vet saw nothing physical, thank goodness. Her blood work comes in tomorrow but they think it will come back fine. I hope she doesn't’t go through this again. Poor baby.Thanks Mama Bear. :)

Aren't they so cute. I love seeing those little dogs. My daughter wanted a Dachshund so bad. We were lucky to find her. She's part terrier so she has a different look but you can tell she is part Dachshund and my daughter is happy to have a Dachshund. ;)

I just wanted to drop by and say how much all the prayers mean to military spouses. I love my “job”. The only hard part is pretending that he won’t go away again. I guess that is the only way I cope.

My husband has been in training classes all week to prepair for being one of the people who show up at the front door in dress greens to inform an unfortunate spouse or parent that their spouse/child has made the ultimate sacrifice. He has been a little depressed this week.

I guess I forget about the people like that who are left behind. We always remember the significant others in the soldier’s life, but there are many more who are affected by a soldier’s death. It has to be hard to face someone under this circumstance. Prayers for these people going up now.

Dolly, thank you - and I enjoyed those pictures of Patty, and both Josy and Toby, of course! Looks like Patty was having fun, and the woods are gorgeous.

I am curious if you ever encounter any snakes - probably rattle snakes are not indigenous to your area, but we have to be on the lookout for them here.
