Rove Debates Warming With Crow, David Apr 22 11:15 AM US/Eastern
WASHINGTON (AP) - Karl Rove's debate with singer Sheryl Crow and producer Laurie David about global warming heated the atmosphere at a black-tie Washington dinner.
On the eve of Earth Day, Crow and "Inconvenient Truth" producer David walked over to the presidential adviser's table at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner Saturday night at the Washington Hilton.
Their differences on global warming quickly bubbled over, the Washington Post reported Sunday.
"I am floored by what I just experienced with Karl Rove," David said later. "I went over to him and said, I urge you to take a new look at global warming. He went zero to 100 with me. ... I've never had anyone be so rude."
Rove said: "She came over to insult me, and she succeeded."
As the debate intensified, Crow tried to calm things down but was drawn into the debate with Rove instead.
"You work for me," she told Rove, according to the Post column "The Reliable Source."
"No," was his response. "I work for the American people."

Rove was right. The ONLY reason they went to his table to accost him was to create a scene. They have no sense of comportment or any social graces.

Ah well, common things for common people. And as you might already have guessed, being common has nothing to do with social position or money it has to do with lack of manners and crudeness.

I saw some clips of her tour on NBC this morning, there were perhaps 1000 people at the show. 95% of the seats were empty as is 95% of her head.
I never bought anything of hers. I knew I didn’t like her arrogance. I was proven correct.
So these two chicks walk over to Rove’s table to confront him, and make no mistake, that’s exactly what they intended, then get insulted when he doesn’t roll over and just take it? Stupid broads. And don’t you love that comment by Crow, “You work for ME!”. It truly is all about “ME”, with liberals, isn’t it?

Lets face it 90% of her fame, and therefore success, is connected with who she has let screw her. Early in her career she started doing Eric Clapton, who is old enough to be her dad. When that fizzled out she got with Lance Armstrong, from whom she learned just enough to be dangerous. Such as “every celebrity needs a cause”. I respect Pam Anderson way more, as far as ditzy blondes go. She one said: “I don’t have a career, by breasts do, I am only along for the ride”. That shows more intelligence and honest self-knowledge than an entire catalog of Ms. Crows medicore songs.
That david woman is EXTREMELY arrogant. Saw an interview with these two nitwits...david’s statement: “the debate is over. Global warming is real and we are causing it.”

Seems to me that the older I get the more uncivil many Americans are with each other.
Money and fame do not in any way equate to decency or having manners.
They were in a room full of "their" people, so they had no fear of approaching Rove and being rude. They'd have been ripped to shreds (figuratively) at a conservative gathering, but they never would have tried it to begin with. Of course, they immediately whine to their liberal buddies in the media following this encounter - nothing like fair and balanced.
