Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

You’re either pro Life and Liberty or you’re not. This organization is. If you’re not, maybe you should move on to DU or some other pro death and slavery site.

I looked and looked and I can’t find what it was I read but I think it was linked thru Drudge. I will have to retract what I said because I cannot provide you with a source, but I know I read something along those lines and it was just the last couple of weeks.

The Idea was no outwardly visible scars. It was an article about something new but I can’t find it, so likeI said, ill retradt it until and if I can find it.

If Giulianni wins the primary will you vote for Hillary or Obama or will you just not vote? I detest big government as much as you do but a Presidency and Congress run by the democrats will be catastrophic. Look what has happened already.

I personally will not vote
Yes a dem presidency would be catastrophic, but so would a Rudy presidency. I cannot hold my nose and vote for a pro abort candidate. Just about anything else, but not proabort.

Wow even Rosie opused out.

Why don’t the rest of you Republicans who support Giuliani and have abandoned your conservative principles opus out with integrity. If you’re honest with yourself (not all of you by any means)embrace your candidate and beliefs (liberal on many many issues) and quit disrupting. If you really think that you can support Giuliani without attacking other conservative candidates, that’s another matter. But honestly, the venom that some of you have for the conservtives on here is obvious and transparent. (Again, not all of you but some of you)

Liberals are already allowed to spew freely hereabouts, Jim, under the nakedly transparent guise of "oh, I'm a libertarian, actually."

Sad, but true.

Wow, you are a clever little dweeb.....Why don’t you spend your time defending Rooty’s liberal record and train wreck of a personal life.

And you are still gutless.

Any candidate running, defends himself. Why don't YOU spend your time doing something FOR a candidate - It doesn't take much of anything to trash someone - like the libs do daily. Strange how some conservatives detest the libs but imitate them in their tactics. The need to trash means you have nothing to stand on or no guts to carry it out.

I've heard rumblings about a quixotic third-party exodus should Giuliani win the primary.

Rudy said he would sign the bill banning PBA which Bush just signed. Seems only yesterday that Bush was being attacked HERE for not doing enough to stop abortion with claims he was NO better than the Democrats.

When did he say it? AFTER it was passed and AFTER Bush signed it and AFTER he decided to run for the Republican nomination. The key indicator of his position was that he SUPPORTED Bill Clinton's veto of an almost identical PBA ban and he's has always opposed banning PBA.

Further, there is NEVER any reason for a Partial Birth Abortion to save the life of the mother, which is the point that he is trying to make now. The PBA ban that Clinton vetoed - and Giuliani supported that veto - also included an exclusion for the life of the mother.

Giuliani has NO defense on this issue. Give it up.

What I propose is not “no consequence”. Once a pregnancy occurs, some consequence is going to be present no matter what happens. It would you presenting the false premise, not me.

If a person wants to sleep around, that is their choice to make not mine. I guess you feel it is your choice to make for them. Nancy Pelosi and her ilk would be proud of you. That is exactly their mindset. It seems to be yours as well.

A victim is also one who has any and all choice choice removed from them by the will of another. You back exactly that position.

My position and desire is there to be no victims at all. You really don’t see that do you?

This post is just the example I was making about responding to OLD posts.

This person is so convinced of his/her position, that the easiest way to avoid confrontation is to ignore recent posts.

By the time he/she does get to the newer ones everyone will have long since moved on to other subjects.

Notice the post that is being responded too...8511.

>> I seek a choice that does not involve the loss of life of another.

It does have its little complications, though. Suppose we transfer baby A from womb A to womb B. Now we are back where we started from. The choice to abort has simply passed from the real mother to a surrogate. How shall we prevent abortion the second time? Transplant to womb C, and so ad infinitum.

But wait! Surrogate mother C bears the child, who then will not only have three mothers, perhaps all having legal rights and claims, and one hag-ridden father, but a dozen unexpected half-brothers and sisters. Pandemonium ensues -- especially on birthdays and Christmases. Then they all grow up and have scores of first half-cousins and one-third aunts and uncles and nephews and nieces or two-third aunts and uncles and nephews and nieces, some of whom may marry their half cousins, and at the weddings, which side of the aisle do you sit on?

so you think others should be responsible for bearing the consequences of someone else’s actions?
Nancy Pelosi would be proud
one of the biggest problems in todays society is the abdication of personal responsibility

If you want to turn this into insults, then fine.

Get off your high horse MORON!

Your proposal is STUPID and a PIPE DREAM!

I’m DONE!

I’m not going to respond to a PSYCHO like you any longer.

You don’t want a DEBATE.

You want an ADMIRATION SOCIETY response for your CLEVERNESS in coming up with such a RIDICULOUS idea.

And it’s NOT going to happen.

GOOD BYE!

With Kellynch, it was divorce and out-of-wedlock pregnancy.

I know, I've heard it all. Theyve been doing that for a couple months.

They are going over there whining that they haven't have free speech on FR. What a joke, they have ruled over here for years. And what about howlins comments about having our foot on the neck of the GOP?, What a joke, her and her ilk have been running amuck over here for years with their liberal tactic, intimidating FR.

I believe FR will gain many more new Freepers because they are gone.

When and if we get over the initial shock of this all, we really need to get down to work and start compiling our "swiftboat" material.

Especially since the person who supplied most of the “Swift Boating” of Kerry here at FR (my own humble self) was soon banned by him after my work was co-opted by others here.

Given the hundreds (if not thousands) of people that contributed to that effort, toiling day and night through mounds of records, that is a whole lot of credit to attribute, so humbly, to yourself.

Now is the time to knock Rooty out of the race, before he takes the Republican party down with him.

There are several good conservative candidates that, like cream, will rise to the top once the sludge is removed.

Rooty is sludge and I’ll continue to expose his lifelong liberal record and train wreck of a life.

You can either deal with it or seek out a site that likes liberal abortionist gun grabbers like Rooty.
