Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

People here are not only against gay rights, they just plain don’t like gay people. Am I wrong?

I don't think any one should have special rights. And that is what you mean by rights.

I don't hate homos, but I do find their unnatural perversion to be something quite sickening.

I don't even want to know about their sick sexual preference, but I don't want to know about anyones.

It was the pushy homosexuals and their outrageous agenda that caused normal family folks to dislike what they are doing.

What I read on this thread is that there are many here who are perfectly willing to let Hillary destroy our military and our entire country.

You threw a rock at those of us who stand by principle, and choose long term viability over short term pragmatism. I threw the same rock back at you. To bad if you feel a retort is a low blow. Glass houses and all that.

What concerns me most about Thompson, frankly, is his seeming lack of ambition.

Just because Fred hasn't been campaigning for the office since 911 doesn't mean that there is no ambition. Thompson's name is getting out there without spending a penny. Thompson knows the media probably better than anyone on the campaign trial and has been using it to his advantage. Pretty smooth move I think. Look at the millions Giuliani, Romney and McCain have already spent. Thompson's strategy at this point couldn't be better. When the announcement is made the Thompson Team will be running @ 100%.

“You may not like Rudy’s positions on guns, abortion, blah blah blah, but these social issues will be debated”

Roe v wade isn’t a social issue. It’s a constitutional one. So is the 2nd amendment.

“here’s a news flash for you: in 2016 you’ll still have your gun “

Not if there’s a democrat congress and rudy is president. Then it’s time to turn them in.

“Mary Jane will still be able to get an abortion.”

Yes, if rudy is president, nothing will change. That’s the issue. We want judges that will say that roe v wade was bad law and abortion goes back to the states like it was before, and in that case many will chose to limit the practice.

“This country needs a leader to focus on what matters – our security, pride, and prosperity.”

Security? Not for our border against illegals. Security at home? Hard to do when schumer and rudy join up and take them away. Pride? In what exactly, that we have a liberal republican in office?

As far as prosperity, along with it will come more big spending, as rudy has shown he will do when he has the money.

Is there a Jim Robinson ass kissing contest going on that I was not aware of?

Well that's interesting, you haven't posted for two days, you haven't even been IN this thread, but your first (ahem) 'contribution' is to accuse me of being an ass-kisser.

So which one of the dearly departed misfits are you?

Tell your pals at WideAwakes to ESAD.

You too.

I was quite offended to read it, but I believe she was serious, and seriously doesn’t like abortion.

I think hers is not a sin of intent, but of reasoning.

“Seems to me like more than a few people here have an unhealthy obsession with what people are posting on other sites.”

You have an unhealthy obsession of trying to stir up trouble. Why don’t you and your liberal weasel friend leave here and start your own rooty tooty club? You must not have much of a life, troll.
