We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
You’re in, Sith.
LOL!
Rise, Challa-head.
He’ll massacree you!
He soitenly will!!!!! LOL
LOL
“Thanks for the bump, SJB, but my post got yanked!”
I think it’s still there. Check it out.
— Cant resist one comment on Wideawakes, and the irony of their choice of that name.
Perhaps MadIvan is making the members of his little site the butt of a sophisticated joke?
Naww. I don’t think so either. But...who knows?
It’s been restored. Thanks, JimRob.
I can guess who isn't too happy with the reconciliation then.
It’s the lack of moral base that keeps me from calling myself libertarian. Abortion and homosexuality are wrong. I don’t see that legalizing drugs and prostitution are positive things. But boy I sure would love to see the federal government go under the surgeon’s knife and get rid welfare, the Dept of education, and the IRS.
Well, then... Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.
I applaud the banishment of those who insisted on posting misrepresentations about conservative candidates.
I have observed three categories of Rudy voters:
a) Those willing to vote for him if he is the nominee.
b) Those who want him to get the nomination.
c) Those willing to prevaricate, obfuscate and yes, outright lie, in order to get him the nomination.
Personally, I have no problem with a or b, but given my druthers everyone in category c would be warned and then banned.
If you truly studied American History, you’d know the source of WideAwakes.
LOL. That was funny! I love Star Wars.
Yes, very true and thanks for the encouraging verse.
The original post that I was responding to was quite contentious and it was pulled, so maybe mine got pulled as as well because it was in the same subthread.
But it’s restored now, and I’m no longer scratching my head about what was going on. And Hairy Plodder is gone.
take care
Alright.
I think I agree with you then.
The thing that left a terrible taste in my mouth was the mob-style feeding frenzy on display.
Not very conservative and not particularly Christian in my estimation.
Purges are sometimes neccessary to a movement when they clearly threatens the objectives of the movement. My party in Norway was just about taken over by rabid libertarians, but was saved by a purge that left some wounds. In the end though, the party ended up stronger. We are now challenging the labour party to be the largest party in Norway. Yay us :-)
Anyhow, as a foreigner it is not my battle to fight, although we Norskies have an awful tendency to stick our noses where they don’t belong :-)
My two favourite candidates are Fred Thompson and Tom Tancredo.
As Tancredo’s prospects don’t seem all that bright and shining at the moment, I really hope that Thompson jumps into the fray.
Have a good day Petronski.
Cheers,
Euro.
Cheers to you too. I’m glad to be able to make myself understood.
