The press has gone way over the line. This isn't some Anna Nicole/Natalie Halloway daily soap opera ratings grabber. This is a national tradegy -- the massacre of our children. As the mother of a college student away from home, I'm just sickened by it. I am so sad for the parents of those students.

That bothers me. This kid carried no id and took the trouble to file the serial numbers off the weapons. However, he made certain to bring along a month-old ticket documenting how and where he bought them.

Your placement of the word "maybe" made trying the doors a factual statement, on your part.

Everything about the above statement indicates that, in your mind, they tried the doors, for sure, no doubt about it.
If you had any doubt, you would have placed the word "maybe" before the word "tried," not before "because."
Furthermore, your inclusion of the word "when" seals the deal as well.
Haven’t read those books . . . but read lots of hourse organ docs 45+ years ago by the organizations saying what they were going to do. Since, they’ve accomplished 80-85% of their stated goals then.

But I felt much safer in Mainland China—until Tienanmen—when few felt safe. And, was much freer about what I said in Chinese universities—even about God—as long as I was asked first by a student.

I wouldn’t ask this anywhere else but, I was sorta surprised that a Korean immigrant was majoring in English. I had the impression or maybe the sterotype that the children of asian immigrants usually studied something more technical. They also said this morning that he may have a criminal arrest in Montgomery County. Couple that with whether his parents knew he was getting a “soft” degree...

Yes, we are end days, as I see it (no religious connotations). My father (WWII combat vet) told me the same things long ago. But even he didn’t forsee the total distruction of integrity, honor, self-responsibility, grace, and self-determination. I am sad for my children and grand-children.
I only hope I am dead before I see the envitable happen to this wonderfully conceived nation.

The total number of school shooting deaths has been declining and the world didn't seem to end after a nutjob blew up a school of elementary school students, killing 40+, in 1927 in Michigan.
