Thanks for the both stories.
Things might have been a whole lot better if someone was carrying today...
My, my, my. What a peevish and silly little post.
Unlikely he would have such a weapons cache on him
Katie Couric just arrived on campus
Aiyeee, Katie Couric is at Tech now.
Flight 93 can't really be compared to the other flights. It was the last to go down. Before it crashed, the passengers had had phone contact with many people, as I'm sure you know, and the passengers were made aware of what happened to the other flights.
I don't think there is any evidence which shows that non-Flight 93 passengers had any idea that what was going on was anything but a "normal" hijacking. They had no idea that they were about to be used as missiles.
Back to our regularly scheduled programming...
Very well. Would seem to be a reasonable thing to do.
Appreciate the info.
26,000 students at Tech.
I live in Houston, and my wife and I both have CCW permits. However, you have to admit that fighting for the rights of Texans to carry guns is not an uphill battle.
Katie Couric’s arrival makes this an official crisis. /sarcasm
Forty years ago, citizens grabbed rifles from thier vehicles, and helped the police shoot back at the killer, saving MANY lives...
But that was at ANOTHER University, 40 years ago, in Texas, before the era of Liberalism, Gun-Free Slaughter Zones, and political correctness....
Something else weird: Barak Obama makes a statement and starts right off saying “There will be many more of these”
Sounded almost like a threat.
GWU students put on some kind of alert.
(me, still reading the FOX scroll)
Thanks for the very smart observation. Misdirect the LEOs and leisurely kill people.
“Looks like he may not have been a student also and traveled around looking for his ex g/f.”
I don’t think so.
He had an awful lot of ammo for disgruntled boyfriend. It is obvious that this guy intended to kill a lot of people.
Also, heard this from one of the students who claimed to know an eyewitness...said the gunman was locking, (chaining?) entrance/exits to the school. Student claimed that the gunman was going from classroom to classroom firing into each.
Waiting to hear more on this note.
I’m not aware that any of Virginia’s public colleges allow firearms. I could be wrong.
I’m not finding a link about that yet
FNC just mentioned it on the air ... It could be nothing and just FNC trying to make it bigger then it is
all gun control, all of the time on see-bs news tonight
I’m with you. This sure doesn’t look like a lover’s spat gone wrong. Too many facts don’t fit.
Hasn’t the “chain the door tactic” been used by A.Q. before? Russian theatre standoff, perhaps?
Nah. During the 4-month Russian invasion of Finland, 1939-40, the Finns found out that the 9mm fmj rounds from their kp31 *Suomi* machinepistols were just fine for killing unwanted Communist invaders. You just had to use enough of them to get the job done.
The Finnish proverb "Siberia shall teach" was true also in the form: "Siberians shall teach". Many "Russian" invaders in the Winter War of 1939 - 1940 were actually conscripts from Ukraine and other south-western republics of Soviet Union. Many Russian soldiers of the north-western front in the 1941 - 44 war against Finland were tough and persistent natives of the Siberian wilds and forests. Some Finns knew them from the earlier war.Now pull your trigger on the link here, and learn how the busy Finns were doing the good work of killing off unwanted Communists before you were born.
"They were formidable opponents. We were urged to kill almost every Siberian twice, and most tough boys still a third time", told many Finnish veterans of wars: "Russian lads, coming against us in closed formation, intoxicated with vodka and singing Le Internationale, were bunny-boys but the Siberians were born soldiers! We met them in February 1940 and we learnt to respect those slant-eyed imps... !" Two bullets were enough for "bunny-boys" but five hits were necessary to dispatch a Siberian "imp". Sometimes they fought back despite ten or twelve wounds from 9 mm bullets.
