:) Thanks. I’ll be perfectly happy to have a rational conversation with people later, without name calling and when we’re not all freaked out about this event. For now, I’m praying for all involved and especially hoping that none of my friends were there.

As long as Islam exists this can occur anytime, anywhere. This one may not be Islam in action but without a doubt they set a lousy example for all the other wackos.

Fox said the name of the shooter has not been released, so the myspace site probably isn’t any connection.

According to the university, classes have been cancelled for Tuesday, April 17.

That's what they're saying at this point in time. I would be surprised if classes resume anytime before next Monday.

Suspect then went to his first class and shot everyone in there

Three hours later? I'm not sure that student has her fact quite straight.

If he was shooting people in his own class - wouldn’t they ID him easily? Thought I heard a kid on fox a bit ago - saying how his friend just played dead while all others in class were shot - he lived - said shooter going room to room.

“I think students shouldn’t be allowed to carry guns on campus”

Yeah, that worked out real well today.

You are right! It worked extremely well today because there was nobody there able to answer him lawfully or defend themselves lawfully in a gun-free zone which is unlawful under the second amendment.

Liberals have made these zones the perfect terrorist zones.

Today is Patriot’s Day in MA. State and city offices are closed, including state courts. MA residents get an extra day for filing taxes — they don’t have to be filed until tomorrow. True, it is the week for school vacation, but it was when Patriot’s Day was observed on the 19th too.

"1st, Don’t ever call me a liberal."

I didn't call you a liberal. Work on your reading skills. I said you sprout the standard emotional lines of a typical gun grabber.

"2nd, this kind of no-weapons zone is standard procedure at many government establishments AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN (no “Founders would’ve disapproved” - they wouldn’t; they had sense and respect)."

Ridiculous! They weren't bothered by folks that chose to defend themselves and certainly repected them. They knew very well that bad guys exist and intend to do people harm.

"You can’t be serious that with all the rioting over stupid basketball games (lose OR win!) that have commonly occurred within the last 5 years on/near college campi that these “students” can be trusted."

Pure BS! Another standard wild west line from the grabber crowd. I have no respect for your emotional "thoughts" on the matter, nor your insistence on rendering folks defenseless agaist scumbags.

ONE student or teacher carrying a concealed weapon could have shot the killer and thereby at least limited the bloodshed.

Possibly SJS (Sudden Jidhai Syndrome) by someone w/extra ammo exploiting a location that was vulnerable due to local anti-CCW? So far uncertain. We need to wait until the identity and name of the “Asian” is identified.

This shooting sounds very familiar to the cafeteria shooting in Texas many years ago early 90’s I think. that shooting was ended by an off duty police officer.

What kind of quivering coward worries about “friendly fire” at a time like this?

So when confronted with an armed psycho, your preference is to wait for him to run out of ammo, as compared to taking the risk of being shot by a good guy on accident?

German jews who agreed with you went into ovens. If you choose the same fate, do us all a favor and don’t vote to disarm the rest of us.

If an American news organization like Fox identifies someone as asian, it usually means Asian Pacific, NOT middle eastern. When BBC reports asian it’s usually Pakistani.

Somehow I doubt it’s all about a girlfriend.

I agree. This seems way too calculated to be the result of a lovers' quarrel.
