My son-in-law is a Virginian and I spoke to him just now. He is a CCW guy and tells me that the gun rights folks in VA have had trouble with the Hokies because although it is legal to carry on campus, the university said that if any student is caught (legally) carrying, that student will be expelled.

Things might have been a whole lot better if someone was carrying today...

Forty years ago, citizens grabbed rifles from thier vehicles, and helped the police shoot back at the killer, saving MANY lives...

But that was at ANOTHER University, 40 years ago, in Texas, before the era of Liberalism, “Gun-Free” Slaughter Zones, and political correctness....

I’m not aware that any of Virginia’s public colleges allow firearms. I could be wrong.
