Guess what my new background is on work computer now?

Really? I am flattered that you would use one of my pictures for your computer wallpaper. I have it on my desktop too. I love pale pink roses, and white ones and red ones, and yellow ones. I'm just crazy about roses and daisies and gardenias and lilacs and........ LOL.

How sad the world would be without flowers.

I have a wonderful white HT named Tienke.

Thanks, I will check that out. White is my favorite color rose (followed closely by pale pink) and it is the only color that I don't have. There are just so many to pick from, it helps when someone I know recommends one they have had good luck with.

Y'all are rose enabling. so if hubby complains I'll blame you ok. ;)

Good afternoon Luv. I am still waiting for my hummers to come back. I have seen a few, but not nearly as many as we will have next month, I’m sure. I keep food out for them, but so far not many takers.

Ohhhh.......how pretty! I hope you can eventually get a photo of your little Phoebee family. Isn't wonderful when you get a chance to witness nature up close?

We had scrub jays nesting in our lemon tree a few years ago and I got very attached to the babies. One of the little ones, I call him "Precocious", still comes back to my yard for peanuts. He is the only bird who flies to me rather than away when he sees me.

Balance





I have a wonderful carefree life, I think you'd agree
With a huge splendid House to satisfy my curiosity
Whose Halls and many Rooms open up wide
Offering countless chances to look and go Outside

Or plunge into shadows in search of a cozy place to hide
Sometimes in the company of a cautiously watching Human chaperone
Though not after the Sun goes down, when that time is all my own
When I'm free to roam around and test new Theories and Equations

Without the onus of constantly worrying Human Oversight and Invasion
While determining just how many leaps it takes to conquer a Window Sill?
Or sneak into the the Kitchen cupboards if there's been a noisy spill
Just in case one of my Pet Theories disastrously goes awry
On the rare occasion when evidence is there that I cannot deny

Usually upon my silky fur in places not easily accessed
My Humans get to watch me stretch and contort while I'm being addressed
Though their reading of The Riot Act is often laced with laughs
It's not enough to keep me beyond the reach of noisy Midnight Gaffes

I have been watching them for about a week. I was so glad that I put the feeder out when it was so cold and snowy over the weekend so the poor little things would have something to eat.

This one? I love it. ;)Your pink rose is so lovely,MB, and this time I see "raindrops"! My daughter sprayed this year and says she has had great success with her roses. She lives near Houston which has warmer winters but is humid. I cut a bouquet in February while I was there last year..

Oh no, not snow. I hope it doesn’t come to be LadyJag. I did enjoy the day too. It had to hit about 50 today here also. My daughter was off so we went walking. Tomorrow rain will be a rain day. :)
