RALEIGH, N.C. - Elizabeth Edwards says she is scared of the "rabid, rabid Republican" who owns property across the street from her Orange County home - and she doesn't want her kids going near the gun-toting neighbor.
Edwards, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, particularly recalls the time neighbor Monty Johnson brought out a gun while chasing workers investigating a right of way off his property. The Edwards family has yet to meet Johnson in person.
"I wouldn't be nice to him anyway," Edwards said in an interview. "I don't want my kids anywhere near some guy who when he doesn't like somebody, the first thing he does is pull a gun out. It scares the business out of me."

Example: The time years ago I saw Baba Wawa on "Live With Regis and Kathy Lee", and Kathy Lee asked a half-jokingly personal question. Oh, man, there was instant anger on Baba's face.

Why is it , that when you think of John and Elizabeth Edwards, you suddenly think of Jim and Tammy Faye Baker?
If I were their neighbor, I would constantly be target practicing in my back yard with automatic weapons, creating as much noise as possible.
Hell, I would even invest in a .50Cal just for effect.

For those of you who are old enough to remember...I recall the Kennedys; country home for fox hunting, Hyannis Port for the summer get-away. Before that it was FDR with more money than God. The DEMS have a long history of making sure they don’t come into contact with ‘low lifes’.

Frankly if that bum of a leech she calls a husband were my husband I would have large brown envelopes filled with (copies of) "interesting papers", shall we say?, squirreled away with people and attorneys throughout the country with the simple instructions: "TO BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY UPON MY DEATH"
