No those kids need a book about Johnny and his two dads or a copy of an inconvenient truth. That’s appropriate.
Maybe those parents are upset about our national anthem, have they ever read those words?

Glorifies violence???
I say it glorifies the ultimate sacrifices made by brave young men to keep this country free. Freedoms that pathetic spineless libtards like these people take for granted every single day of their lives and have never so much as lifted a finger to help preserve.

"I don't think young children should be exposed to that in that way - unsupervised by their parents or any adults," said Emily Cassidy, one of the mothers. She makes it sound like the statue is pornographic. To some people, weapons are pornographic, it seems.

I’m trying to imagine the statue of the fallen SEAL holding flowers and making the peace sign...

Oh, good Heavens, don’t ever let them think you have to fight for freedom...it comes free with no sacrifice as long as you’re nice to other people and hug trees on a regular basis. And, please, don’t ever let them see the raising of the flag over Iwo Jimo in a text book.
When the enemy gets here because people like these won’t fight for their own freedom, I hope I get to see their heads role before they take mine.

If the statue of the hero is found inappropriate, I’d suggest a statue of Emily with her head in her most appropriate orifice.

Let me guess. These parents are the Soccer mom types shows like the Today Show and The View brainwash on a daily basis.

Dietz's father said the family is devastated by the uproar. "It broke our hearts," said Dan Dietz, who still lives in the area. "My son was fighting for her freedom to do exactly what she is doing. She put my son in the same category as Columbine. How does she have the audacity to do that?"
Exactly how many parents are whining and complaining? I am sick of one or two idiots making the rules for the masses!

"We have absolutely no issue with the family, and we have only good feelings for the soldier and what he did for this country," Cassidy said. Sure they have good feelings for this Navy SEAL and what he did for our country but they don't want to be reminded of it. Just can't make this kind of stuff up, what a whack job.
Danny Dietz is one of America's finest. God Bless him and his family.
