President Clinton is a big fan of "24" even though "an uber right-wing guy" produces the Emmy-winning political thriller.
Clinton told TV advertisers Friday that his favorite show is the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," and he appreciates "Boston Legal" for the dynamic between William Shatner and James Spader. "It's something to behold," he said.
As for "24," which was co-created by noted Republican Joel Surnow, Clinton said he enjoys the fact that conservatives and liberals alike can be the bad guys in the show.
"They're trying to be fair," Clinton said.
His other must-see TV shows include "All in the Family," "I Love Lucy," "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Bonanza" -- all of which air on TV Land, which sponsored his appearance at the cable network's "upfront" presentation to advertisers at Jazz at Lincoln Center in the Time Warner Building.
"As you know, my wife is away, so I'm home alone a lot," Clinton said of Sen. Hillary Clinton, who is running for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. "I'm particularly grateful to TV Land for giving me something to do at night."
He also found time to focus on real-world interests such as global warming, hurricane and tsunami relief, AIDS and childhood obesity.

I am not the biggest of fans....the wife is, though. It was really good. He played for 3+hrs. It was his 60th birthday and the 60th time he had played The Garden.
Was Clinton able to upstage Elton John?
Of course, that's a given. Well, he along with Whoppi & Robin Williams who came on stage half way through.
Why does this writer thinks anybody cares what the ex, impeached president (and the small p is on purpose) watches on TV. This is an embarrassment.
Would it be possible to have at least one day in ten without a Clinton Thread????....
Oh come on. If it was Reagan or Bush who said they liked I Love Lucy you'd be talking about how down to earth he is.
You cannot be serious......Reagan MAY have watched his FRIENDS when it was on the first time, but not TV LAND, and Bush would be crucified if he said he watched. It's just so "Pop Culture" pap.
"I get to see them do all the stuff to the bad guys that we didn't do under my administration."
I'm betting he'll land the guest host spot on next years' TV Land Awards!
Most likely, Bill grew up watching Lucy and Desi lie to each other.
Your right the closest Clinton will ever get to fighting terrorism is watching 24. I'm also envisioning what another sequel to Home Alone might look like.
Come on now, politics aside, Elton is one of the most gifted pop musicians in the world.
Those Gieco adds that everybody seems to think are so clever are a pretty big rip-off of his "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer" bits.
Capped by his wife, wasn't he?
And just seeing Elton is worth at least a shower or two itself.
LOL....no argument there. Aaaah, the things we do for our spouses.
I'm not sure it is. My disgust with the man was my reason for joining in the first place.
