Does this photo appear to be doctored to you?
gave me the data needed to open up Google Earth and twist, pan, and zoom until I could see where they had to be to take that photo. Note the Key Bridge just above the supposed lights on the Arlington Bridge, and Georgetown U. behind and North of the Key Bridge.
They took that photo at a scenic area off the George Washington Parkway, on the Virginia side of the Potomac, roughly one mile North of where the picture "appears" to be.
There were no people, no demonstrators, just the waters of the Potomac in the original non-Photoshopped picture. They literally Photoshopped all the people, and the lights of the Arlington Bridge, into a photo taken a mile North of the Arlington Bridge.
I sent a message to Michelle Malkin and I also sent a message to Little Green Footballs we need to expose the lies? Anybody else I should notify?
So that explains why the grass shows at the bottom of the elongated shot.
I would let them check it out first and see what they think. Keep us informed.
It does look doctored The colors are just as bright in the distance as they are in the foreground and they shouldn't be.
Sounds like a plan, I hope Little Green Footballs picks up on it.
Thanks!
I'm late to this, and the info may have been posted.
I found what looks to be the original pics from UPI and Alexis C. Glenn:
http://www.upi.com/Newspictures/photo.php?PhotoID=WAP20070317701_001
There are some strange marks on the photos. Don't look like water marks, or reflections from glass...if nothing else, those have been cleaned out of the pic...
The rest of the pics are here if you scroll down a little: http://www.upi.com/Newspictures/photo_search.php?start=4&CID=83&num=500&query=protest&logic=all
Funny!
Nice work!
I sent little green footballs the link to this thread. So they can pic out all the edited photos exposing the lies. :D
The letters look like "UPI".
Did you see the Church in the background?? Go to the original link, the pic there is bigger!
You can see grass at the bottom of the frame. You can see the distorted perspective of a long lens. Look at the woman in the blue jacket, wearing a white headband. She is just to the left of the yellow sign in the foreground. Look at the size of her head. Now look at the guy wearing the yellow and black jacket behind her. Look at the guy wearing a gray jacket with white sleeves and collar, and the guy wearing a gray fleece behind him. These people are all some distance apart from each other, each further back than the next. You can see the people between them, but their heads appear the same size. This is what a zoom lens does.
Also, if they were going to chop it, the guy in the foreground has one of those 911 was an inside job signs. It's above the yellow sign at the bottom of the frame, blue lettering on white. They'd disappear him.
Forced perspective: Yes.
Chopped: I don't think it is chopped.
Thanks. I can see it now!
Looks like a very straight edge on the right of that guy. Strange.
From your bottom link these photos all seem to be taken by the same person Alexis C. Glenn. There are other photos that clearly show the people up against the side of the bridge on one side. I think every one of Alexis' photos look a little on the weird side.
Those marks are the UPI watermarks. Likely, A.N.S.W.E.R. received permission to use the photos, whether or not they paid for them.
