YEP....
Nice place.
Be you tee full as well.
[been a couple of other places, however...]

Sorry for the late catch, had to take my son back to the airport to go back to school.
If this picture shows the cut & run crowd in the distance, all of their colors appear yellow which would dramatize their position on the Iraq war...am I right?

I do not know you, but tell your son that our family loves his service to our country and that he is now loved by several more moms.

That's my favorite pic also, although the guys guarding the Vietnam Nurse's Memorial were also quite a sight. (My sister-in-law was a nurse at China Beach and her husband did TWO tours of duty as a Medevac Pilot).
The anti-war protestors wouldn't want any part of that.
Perhaps my favorite Reagan quote was when he was Governor:
"I saw a group of protestors the other days carrying signs that said 'Make Love Not War'. Trouble is -- they didn't look like they knew how to do either."

This was just amazing!!! A huge THANK YOU to all of those who went out today and especially to those who have served the cause of freedom for us all. These events define to me what the almost seemingly extinct notions of duty, honor, valor and loyalty actually mean, personified in the faces of the vets who have been to the edge and back FOR US!!
As a Canadian, I would also like to thank you all for fighting at those times when my countrymen were more content in their "peace" than for fighting for those in the world who were to become slaves of tyrannical communists.
I have had the pleasure even living in Canada to meet with some Vietnam veterans who are not of the peacenik, draft-dodging hippie variety. You will be proud to know that they do their best promoting the "right" causes around there and remain extremely proud to have served the United States.
Again, THANK YOU all so much. I personally find it hard to read about these things without getting emotional. It is uplifting to see all of the veterans of Vietnam speaking up for themselves after all of these years. And to see those who are not too politically correct to speak towards the greatness of our own nations and for the survival of our values and freedom.
I am 19 years old, and if people like this can survive on through my generation there is still some hope for our nations, our civilization and for our world.
I hope you guys do this again next year as you may get a few more "northern" eagles out.

Tell the "Cut & Run Crowd" to get out of the way, because the real patriots of this country are going to unite and wipe out the Demo left-wing commies and retake our country from the liberal commie pinkos of the Soros and Hollyweed crowd. Move over, we're coming through...and its about time!!

Thank you all who went.
Thank you all who wrote.

I don't understand what part of our nation's history these moonbats are missing, but they must lead pretty isolated lives to misunderstand it so thoroughly.Keep this in mind..... "Those who CAN ...... DO. Those who CAN'T ...... TEACH."
That's another big problem we need to work on.

bert, there were many organizations working to get the word out. Another primary group was
Together We Served. Many Marine vets and their friends worked tirelessly to light the fire. Didn't take much convincing....but I think it will be contagious.

Sorry -- it took a while for my replies to get posted... guess cuz we're new, but we're the ones that called & told K about CSPAN deciding not to show GOE this morning. We fudged & used the press #. He was real tired last we spoke & may have turned it off & headed for a warm spot & cup of anything HOT! :D

Thank you to all that attended today to support our brave troops! I have to say that I hold extreme bitterness in my heart for those anti American creeps that trash our flag and showed up today. They will never appreciate or know the sacrifices our heroes in combat go through so they may hold their disgusting demonstrations against our country!
