WASHINGTON Members of extremist groups have signed up as school bus drivers in the United States, counterterror officials said Friday, in a cautionary bulletin to police. An FBI spokesman said "parents and children have nothing to fear."
Asked about the alert notice, the FBI's Rich Kolko said "there are no threats, no plots and no history leading us to believe there is any reason for concern," although law enforcement agencies around the country were asked to watch out for kids' safety.

They are signing up. . .are they being hired? If so. . .then we better sing. . .pray. . .scream; louder and better than the flying Imams.

Our daughter was driven to school one day by someone who had to stop at a gas station (or was it Target?) to get a map to the school. I'm not sure why she couldn't have asked one of the students, but she made them two hours late. It was the second to last straw for us regarding this daughter attending the particular school. And this bus driver actually spoke English. Unlike the three or four others who had driven the route during those first two weeks of school.

FBI spokesman said "parents and children have nothing to fear." Now there's actual proof that the FBI (Fumbling Bumbling Idiots) might actually be just STUPID!
The FBI sure seemed all determined to get that domestic terrorist Scooter Libby...they couldn't lie enough to get that conviction...what a bunch of crap is the FBI. They are as inept as the CIA & State depts!

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the "other" articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. If you want on/off this list, please freepmail me. The main Homeschool Ping List by DaveLoneRanger handles the homeschool-specific articles. OK, so I'll just ping it.

Evidently these would-be terrorists have not ridden on an inner-city, public-school bus lately.
My bet is the terrorists will be dead long before the kids.

LOL.
I'd say the FBI doesn't make any sense here . . . but then they lost any shred of credibility a long time ago.

An act of terror like that would result in muslims being shot on sight. There was enough trouble restraining people after 9/11, but going after kids? Only a muzzie would stoop that low and THEY'D better be ready for their families and acquaintances (presuming the terrorists aren't still alive) to pay the price and pay dearly.

In my estimation, the scenario that you've imagined here is completely plausible. Were I a young person having school age children, I would be searching Heaven and Hell to find a way to get them to school while keeping them off the school bus.
And, by the way, some of my neighbors transport their children to school by automobile. "Granny" usually fills the bill of "private school bus driver." It has nothing to do with Muslims, of course, but everything to do with keeping them out of harms way - that harm being disfunctional, disruptive and dangerous children.

Shouldn't there be alarm bells going off SOMEWHERE?
Why panic. Not one child has been killed YET.

I could almost think that the author expected us to understand that the Feds were talking about Islamists.
Islam is a religion of peace. Why worry?

Sounds like another inability to connect the dots They probably have the dots connected. It's the "warning" they can't voice, so they release this incomprehensible idiotic statement, hoping we will connect the dots and do something about it.
They can't. They would be individually hounded and sued all the way to the poorhouse by CAIR and the ACLU. It's not worth risking their paychecks and careers for speaking the truth in today's political climate.
...(have you checked who has the subpoena power in the Congress lately, and is perfectly willing to use it?)
