Still extremely slow for a cable connection.

At speedtest, I got 2526/419, and at my ATT-Yahoo, I got 2544/440. Pretty close.

Strange, but, to me, astound.net looked like they were touting their own stuff.

My work link that was really fast was also to Chesterbrook PA, all my other attempts were a lot slower.

Although I was happy at how my wirelss DSL connection matched up with the Cable boys.

Yes, but their stuff is just ordinary home cable, with 6 Mb down but only 384 Kb up. The fast guys are full duplex, equal up and down, like for servers. Astound won't do your server any good, but they will gladly let you rent theirs.

This is a reply to myself, those were my resulsts with cablevision modem and windows computer dell 2.6, p4 (don’t know if that matters).

My results with Verizon FIOS and my new Intel Imac are:

20606/4263

98% better than the world
97% better than my country
