Move America Forward and the Roger Hedgecock Show are teaming up to put on the San Diego Pro-Troop Rally stop for the "THESE COLORS DON'T RUN" national patriotic caravan that travels across the nation March 8th - March 17th to join with the "Gathering of Eagles" event in Washington, D.C.
FRIDAY, MARCH 9TH - SAN DIEGO RALLY & CARAVAN SEND OFF
WHEN: Friday, March 9th :: 3:00 - 4:30 PM
3:00 PM - Rally Begins
4:30 PM - The rally participants leave in a caravan of vehicles decorated with red, white and blue patriotism to head to Palm Springs/Palm Desert. They will meet up with the main caravan that will be heading from Los Angeles to Palm Springs for a big Pro-Troop Rally from 7:30 - 8:15 PM at Civic Center Park in Palm Desert.

BRING YOUR AMERICAN FLAGS TO DONATE TO THE CARAVAN. They will be collected at the pro-troop rally stops along the way to Washington, D.C. and displayed in a "Flag City" at the "Gathering of Eagles" event.
After the GOE rally we'll send each flag, along with a note indicating who donated it and how it flew in support of the troops, to military units serving in Iraq & Afghanistan.
I'm so excited! I have never been to a rally this big. I can't wait to me you all!

It sure does! There's Deborah Johns and Howard Kaloogian talking to Roger Hedgecock. Deborah as you know is coming along again on the caravan - along with Gold Star Mom Debra Argel Bastian, Gold Star Dad Joseph Williams and Operation Iraqi Freedom & Operation Enduring Freedom Veteran, John Ubaldi. Should be a fun time!
This needs to be the biggest turnout of traditional conservative folks DC has ever seen. DO NOT show up without an American flag.
I'm ording a box of them to donate to the cause.

This tour needs a fast Northern, Central, caravan Route from Reno to SLC, Cheyenne, Omaha, Des Moines, Davenport, Chicago, Toledo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, DC, and leaving Reno or Sacramento on or about the 11th, SLC 12, overnight in North Platte, 13th Omaha, Des Moines Davenport overnight, 14th Chicago, Toledo, Cleveland overnight, 15th Pittsburgh DC.
Fast and furious but keeping in mind the goal. One hour stop in the major cities to pick up and brief participants and roll. Should only need one fuel stop per day other than start full and end full, and that could be in one of the stops. Same with food. GPS and cell phone in lead and trail vehicles.
It takes an awful lot of work to put these things together, to get people committed to participating, going to rally stops, getting word out to the press, working out the logistics of the vehicles, the gas, the route, the hotels.
Take I-15 North to CA-79… to CA-371 / CAHUILLA RD… Turn RIGHT onto CA-74 E / PINES TO PALMS HWY… CA-74 E / PINES TO PALMS HWY becomes MONTEREY AVE… Turn RIGHT onto FRED WARING DR / 44TH AVE… Make a U-TURN at PORTOLA AVE onto FRED WARING DR / 44TH AVE.
