This tour needs a fast Northern, Central, caravan Route from Reno to SLC, Cheyenne, Omaha, Des Moines, Davenport, Chicago, Toledo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, DC, and leaving Reno or Sacramento on or about the 11th, SLC 12, overnight in North Platte, 13th Omaha, Des Moines Davenport overnight, 14th Chicago, Toledo, Cleveland overnight, 15th Pittsburgh DC.
Fast and furious but keeping in mind the goal. One hour stop in the major cities to pick up and brief participants and roll. Should only need one fuel stop per day other than start full and end full, and that could be in one of the stops. Same with food. GPS and cell phone in lead and trail vehicles.
It takes an awful lot of work to put these things together, to get people committed to participating, going to rally stops, getting word out to the press, working out the logistics of the vehicles, the gas, the route, the hotels.
