They must have been holding back a bunch of McCain votes last night...because when I saw the results on Hannity and Colmes last night...McCain was WAY behind.
Edwards is a fag?
ROFL
I like Ann but that does not help CPAC or the cosnervative movment. Better words could have been used. Though I do agree Edwards is a girly man.
"Are they the finals?"
They said they were results from last night.........so really don't know if it is final as didn't say "final".
Ann made a complete fool of herself with the comment about john edwards. What a total idiot!
A modification of the Rudy mantra--"Vote for Rudy or you'll get Hillary."
..I'm not convinced of Ann's commitment to Mitt though...
I wish there was some mystical way I could convine those in my neighborhood that I am a Rudy supporter AND a John supporter in such a way that I could guaranty they were cooked simply based on that support.
Hecks bells, the McCain camp just announced the McCain Team in Minnesota. This team (committee) includes some names of a few people that I know quite well and like. Yet I have told my puppeteers that if McCain gets the nod I will take a leave of absense from the ought eight race because he has worked so hard for so long to groin kick conservatives on most domestic issues.
Either way, Hunter has done well.
Maybe she forgot.
No, it was hilarious. Purposefull as well.
Really don't know. I am also confused on just how many straw polls South Carolina is having. The results I found and posted above are from a Spartanburg County Straw Poll. Are there several going on in SC?? Anyone know?
If anyone reads Moxie, thats her on the left.
Hey -- if you'll show me an electable pro-lifer, I'm in with both feet. Anyway, we're not going to eliminate abortion via executive fiat. Nor are we going to get an anti-abortion amendment anytime soon. We may win an incremental court ruling here or there, from time to time. Maybe.
So, am I saying "give up"? Nope. But we have to play within the bounds of "what's possible". I think a wise course would include massive PR campaigns on TV, billboards, etc., a la the anti-smoking campaign. It's taken 30 years; but the anti-smoking campaign has been very successful. Its tack has been to 1) point out the health problems, very graphic at times, 2) point out the social problems, saying that nobody wants to be around a smoker, 3) put smokers on a guilt trip, second-hand smoke and all, 4) ostracize smokers by denying them access to public places, 5) create smoke-free workplaces, thereby affecting people's livelihoods -- you get the idea. And, it's been very successful. Have you noticed that about the only demographic that still smokes, en masse, is the high-school-dropout crowd that lives in snaggletooth estates?
OK. So, why not shame abortion, abortionists, and abortion-users in commercials? Why not encourage entire hospitals to declare themselves "Abortion-Free Zones"? Wouldn't it be great if, as we escalated the anti-abortion campaign, the only people who, as a group, remained consumers of abortion, were the same dropout, dentally-and-mentally-challenged clientele, the ones who still smoke?? We might even secretly hope they WOULD abort. We might even punctuate the ad campaign with a proposal for "Free Abortions for All Liberals, Minorities, and Smokers". Maybe by then, people would catch on to what abortion is all about.
Meanwhile, Rudy Giuliani can govern; and, for that reason, I am not going to write him off. If he's the standard-bearer, though, the VP becomes crucial, because Rudy might not live out his term(s); I am serious about that. His health is very much an issue.
That's all I need to know about Mormons
My platform includes a National Holiday to celebrate Beer, Wine and Pole Dancing. The socons might reject me.
