Rudy is also a fiscal conservative. He cut taxes 23 times while mayor.

Woohoo, Hunter!!! I'm still psyched. Yes, this is rather meaningless at this point in time, but I didn't expect him to do this well. :) Congrats to the Rudy supporters as well.

Something fishy with these results...Nearly 2,000 votes casted but the total reported is barely 400? Methinks some votes were carefully discarded?

No. If FR endorses a candidate they could lose their tax exempt status.

I think this forum is in need of therapy right now. Give it a year and we'll let you know.

No, they said they EXPECTED a little less than 2,000 to vote. Apparently it was a lot less in reality. From what I remember concering Spartanburg County, I was expecting a thousand or two myself, but they, that's the way it goes.

For Hunter to get on the ticket, he's got to get some attention in the general media...because to be of value to the ticket he needs to be able to help bring in California. Right now he's not even a blip outside San Diego and he needs to pull what's left of the old California Reaganites. He's got to show he brings something electorally -- not just on issues -- because the great, great majority of American voters don't vote on issues.

"Nearly 2,000 votes casted but the total reported is barely 400? "

=====

"With 71 of 75 precincts reporting"

I think their expectations of 2000 people showing up haven't been met.

With such a small sample the poll is not very meaningful, but let the Hunter fans have a good day anyway. ;)
