I think CBS may be starting to realize that being ultra-liberal is not a good business model.
No, CBS is simply propping the Democrats up. Remember, when Republicans are in office, everything sucks; when Democrats are in office, it's all sunshine and ponies.
I find this odd,maybe it's me,but I have actually seen more positive stories on Iraq from the old media since the last election.
Why would that be?
I do not think 60 Minutes doing this story benefits the democrats at all, except maybe Joe Lieberman. The airing of this piece goes against everything the traitors of the democratic party are saying in the past few months / few years. It makes them look like idiots.
Timing is everything. Running a piece like this allows CBS to appear to be "fair and balanced" even though the actual damage it can to the leftists today is minimal. Of course, had it been run last October, that would have been another story.
With the traitors in Congress having just voted to undermine the mission of the oustanding men and women of our US military I think a story like this on 60 Minutes will make them look like fools.
Storyline - "Everything is going good in the Kurdish part of Iraq ...
... however, in the rest of Iraq ... America is losing the war ... Bush is evil ... Bush lied to us ... Nancy Pelosi ... Military officers in Baghdad tell us ..."
Yeah, I forgot about that. And when they get a liberal in the White House there are, suddenly, no homeless, more sunny days, more swallows coming back to Capistrano...ad nauseum.
Just the ads for this right now during the Nissan are sickening. The tone of incredulity that anything is going right is disgusting.
I saw those ads. I didn't think they were negative. The quote from the Iraqi Kurd official was great.

You have to wonder why CBS News has decided to run this story on this Sunday of all weekends just after the vote against our troops in Iraq. Maybe it's to give hillary clinton some cover for her vote in favor of the Iraq War.
