No, CBS is simply propping the Democrats up. Remember, when Republicans are in office, everything sucks; when Democrats are in office, it's all sunshine and ponies.

I think CBS may be starting to realize that being ultra-liberal is not a good business model. Timing is everything. Running a piece like this allows CBS to appear to be "fair and balanced" even though the actual damage it can to the leftists today is minimal. Of course, had it been run last October, that would have been another story.

I wouldn't be so sure. But I think they realize that if they repeatedly paint Iraq as a morass and nothing more, then viewers will tune out.
