INDIANAPOLIS COLTS VS CHICAGO BEARS
Sunday February 4, 2007
At Dolphin Stadium, Miami, FL
6:25PM ET
TV Network: CBS
Probably had a wireless pack on. It all looked and sounded live to me. Stadiums used to be very difficult to play live because of the *extremely* long reverb times, but with wireless in-ear monitors coming into widespread use, it's not such a big deal anymore.
I agree I like Avery Johnson too. He seems like a neat guy. And I'm sure Joe Biden might even says he's clean and articulate.
Thanks. I was starting to worry.
I was kidding about Bartman. I think he got too much blame and he was not the first one to touch the ball which he knows and never has said it.
He actually is a friend of my brother. He is pretty much unnoticed and has been back to Wrigley quite a few times. He is also engaged to be married. He also puts in a lot of time with kids and with the local USO office. He is a really nice guy from what I know of him.
Cub fans never really talk about him. We've moved on.
That's gonna upset some liberals....
That's good. I like it when liberals are upset.
I wasn't responding to the original question upthread. I know what was said at the time. I watched it happen. I was responding to a specific post. Thank you.
It is sad that it has become a major topic of this Super Bowl The NBA had a black coach when Super Bowl I was played.
But at the end of the day, Peyton still never beat Florida.
Its all good my FRiend. ;)
Don;t you realize that Freepers in Chicago need the Bears as an escape from those boobs?
All the Bears season ticket holders in our area are Republicans.
And former Bear Gary Fencik is considering a Senate run against Durbin.
Watching more post-game stuff with ESPN. I know - annoying guy there - but good to see it all summed up.
I do not think he meant this at all. He was saying that he and he Chicago bears coach are open about their Christian Faith which guides them in their coaching carrier.
"Grossman had a terrible game but he led the Bears to the super bowl in his first year as a starter."
Yes and Trent Dilfer "led" the Ravens to a Super Bowl. Fortunately for Grossman, there weren't any teams in the NFC that could rise above the level mediocrity and futility that the Bears displayed. As bad as Chicago was, the rest of the Conference was worse.
They have to be looking at a new QB for 2007 - this is too good a team to have a QB that turns the ball over 2,3 times a game. I like the idea of Greise with this offense.
The defense just wore down tonight. the offense did nothing. Scored 10 points and 3 of them were when they got the ball at the Colt 40... the TD was a 52yd run...
too bad it rained but it wouldn't have changed the outcome.
Manning's short passes got 5-8 yds, Grossman's got 1,2.
But the Bears were over achievers all year. Good experience for a young team.
NFLN's post game show is better. They show the podium interviews and Deion actually not only doesn't suck he's good.
I love Chicago Rush games. They play a hop skip and a jump from my house as do the Chicago Wolves hockey. Same place actually.
Bulls are playing well and the Cubs look like contenders. But this is a major down.
Here's a question - what is the name of the Colts player who made the spectacular interception and run back for the touchdown???
Thank you and yes God is very good.
"Whenever I've been in third world countries, it's always amazed me the number of NFL T-Shirts there are."
One of the main reasons we are so "Hated" overseas is that American "Culture" is overwhelming the locals....
Our "Decedence" and "Depravities" (In other Words: Liberal Lifestyle Policies by DEMOCRATS) are hated by fundy muzzies everywhere...
I think that many anti-God secularists in the liberal media and other left wing places are going to make a big deal about this starting tomorrow.
