Yes and Trent Dilfer "led" the Ravens to a Super Bowl. Fortunately for Grossman, there weren't any teams in the NFC that could rise above the level mediocrity and futility that the Bears displayed. As bad as Chicago was, the rest of the Conference was worse.

People who know a thing about football think Rex showed enough to be the starting QB in 07. Then he will be a free agent and a decision will be made.

I'm just glad the Bears aren't as dumb as so many knee jerk fans,

YEs the outcome would have been differnt if Lovie had gone to Griese in week 12. We would not have lost the Super Bowl. We never would have gotten there to lose it.
