Catching the NHL game as well...

Looking a little rough for Les Habitants so far.

It'll be a "Head" or a "Heart" score.

My "head" is telling me 30-13 Colts. Rex Grossman is going to have an extreme case of the nerves. With Indy finding out that they can play defense ouchie wa-wa moma!

My "heart" says Bears in O.T. Three picks by the Bears and Grossman leads the final scoring drive. The only problem with my heart thoughts is that these are the same kinda thoughts I had 20+ years ago when I smoked illegal substances.

I'm just thankful I don't have to watch three hours of pre-game Katrina coverage ala N.O.

Canadiens started the season great, they have only won something like 4 out of the last 15 games. The team needs to get its act together or the will be out of playoff contention in hurry. Pitt 1, MTL 0 , end of 1

LOL.

I know what you mean. This reminds me a lot of the Patriots/Rams Super Bowl from 01. On paper, the Colts look like a 2 touchdown favorite. An explosive offense. but who is the team that can win it in the trenches and be more physical ?...who is the team that seems to be in line with destiny ?.. thats the Bears IMO.

I have a quandry too. I like the Colts but Robbie Gould, the kicker for the Bears, played soccer for me until he was 16.

They always play my Sabres tough, especially this year. That would be a great first-round matchup, I'd be concerned if Buffalo sleep-walks like they're doing lately.

Here's a phrase you will not hear or read after today's game:

"He got out-coached".

Buffalo has been on the skids the past couple of week too.
Sabres/Habs are a great rivalry. Buffalo is really a solid team again this year.

Manning will choke if the weather is bad. Defense will win this game. Since I'm a Longhorn fan, I'll be rooting for Benson and Vasher. Go Cubs!

God, Family, Friends in that order right? Don't know where money or favoritism fit in that. Kinda messy somehow, oh what wicked webs we weave!

This game is just another chance for them to show their manhood and somebody will inevitably be injured. Why not a Husker-Du round robin? That's something the whole family can enjoy.(Bears+7)
