Ex-NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani is adding a war room director to his campaign staff. Tom O'Brien was the dep. research director at the NRCC in the '02 cycle, part of a team that the Hotline said at the time "ran circles" around Democrats. Most recently, O'Brian was the dep. comm. dir. of the MTA in NY. O'Brien took a law degree from Fordham and has taught American history.

I have no problem with "your" guy making a run for the White House, however if he is serious he needs to learn to play the "game."

"From Boston.com On Friday, an e-mail from Mitt Romneys sons suggested that whoever the Republican presidential nominee is will have to raise $100 million.
Hunter said he wouldnt need to raise that kind of money because most of that money goes to pay for consultants that help them look like they are conservative and I am conservative already.""
TRUE
Hunter is the man!

He knows it but must try and put as positive a spin on things as he can. I would like to see him nominated for VP. It would give him the exposure he needs to be a viable candidate in 2012 or 16.

Any candidate who makes such a statement knows it is baloney even if his supporters don't. No one who KNOWS who he is doubts he is a conservative. But it takes a hell of a lot more than that to get the 35% in the middle to consider voting for him.

Thanks, a little 'graphic' tit for tat! I have a lot of stuff but I made a vow not to use it, that is I won't graphically besmirch anyones candidate. Now making fun of the SPAMMERS and the DIMS thats a different story, I also might have to make an exception for McManiac.
I really do have some scathing stuff on Hunter but it will remain in my private archives. I had this really funny one of the Hunter Finance Committee Lemonade Stand. If people had a sense of humor here, it would be fun posting stuff like that to make a point instead of saying hey you your Stoooopid, LOL!

Well it shouldn't be insulting. It is a nice joke line but not to be taken seriously. And the vast majority of conservatives don't even know who he is. Even on the site with the most politically knowledgeable folks in the country there had been almost nothing on this guy, six articles in three years which disappeared with little comment.

That is a very dumb quote. It's very telling that many Freepers are hitching their wagon to this guy's star.

Maybe because he's not offically running yet? Did you ever think of that. When a liberal rag like Newsday starts doing stupid articles like this you know they are afraid he's going to win.

Later on when everyone is running and they start debating I would say all of them are fair game. I'd like to seem them at that time. You're right, now with everyone walking on broken glass it would not be appropriate.

LOL! Right now they are making a big deal about Rudy not checking the Republican box. Jeeze he is not officially running yet. I smell Democrat fear from Newsday.
