Don't you love that answer? :) Who can say the same, in the same way and
MEAN IT?...From Boston.com On Friday, an e-mail from Mitt Romneys sons suggested that whoever the Republican presidential nominee is will have to raise $100 million. Hunter said he wouldnt need to raise that kind of money because most of that money goes to pay for consultants that help them look like they are conservative and I am conservative already."

He had better quit consulting with over hyped yankee "experts" and start talking issues with the voters.
He may not care about my opinions, but my vote is linked to them.

He's getting his team together first and raising cash. It will take about $100 Million to run a good campaign. That's a lot of dough. That is important right now. There is plenty of time to go on the campaign trail and talk to the voters before the primaries.

Hunter's quote is dumb. The money is not to make people believe a candidate is a conservative but to make them KNOW who the candidate IS. Talk about whistling past the graveyard.

Don't be too sure about that. Many people have had to drop out of races because they can't raise enough cash to run. Take a look back at all the other presidential races. It takes plenty of money to run a good campaign - I hope he is aware of that.

Going to need a lot of money to beat the Clintons. Hillary can raise a ton of cash real quickly - plus she has left over cash from her Senate campaign for 2006.

Money is the mothers milk of politics. Mr. Hunter better figure that out soon enough, but in his case I dont think it is going to matter. He may be conservative, but hes an unknown conservative and will need funds to get the needed exposure.

Hilarious! If he really believes what he said in that quote one would have to question his judgment. This guy is either living in a dream world or he's just found a cute way of deflecting concern for his lack of money.

...It's about getting out there and letting people know who you are, without money he isnt going anywhere... let alone the White House.... Well, I see your point but we (social conservatives) believe in the guy. We want to give him a decent chance to make his case. This is only MILE 4 (FEB) of a long marathon... Well see where he stands, say by AUG.
Sorry, but you guys know very well, what this game is about, right? :)
