Dear Visitor,

Due to the recent actions of a member within our company, we have been experiencing many difficulties. We have been bombarded by emails and phone calls literally within 12 hours of the event occurring, which sent us in a state of complete shock.

Our technical difficulties were experienced due to severe e-mail and phone call overload.

As a company, we would like to say that it is against company policy to treat anyone disrespectfully, and we condemn any such behavior. The member who was responsible for stating their personal opinion in a disrespectful manner is no longer associated and no longer working with Discount-Mats.com

The members within our company strongly disagreed with the views and actions of this member, and once again, his personal opinion does not reflect the opinions of the company.

We, as a company, are sorry for the events that took place and we do not condone un-professional, rude behavior from any members within our company.

We are trying to get our website back up as soon as possible.

If you are a potential or current customer, or if you would like to leave your comments, please contact us via phone or e-mail below:

New E-mail Address:  support @ discount-mats.com

Phone Number:  414-736-8394

We are getting a lot of phone calls and we expect many emails, so please don't be surprised if the mailbox is full. Please try again later as we are constantly trying to clear our phone and e-mail boxes.

This is the first time I have not seen somebody step up and rectify a slam against our military .. and I don't like it.

Non apology? They clearly state that they've fired the guy who was an ass and make it clear that they don't tolerate those sorts of antics. Just what the heck WOULD satisfy you? Public stoning?

Web Site Kicks Sand in Faces of GIs in Iraq Asking for Mats to Ease Hardship of Sleeping on Ground

According to this post #8 on this other thread, the soldiers have already been able to locate two companies that are supplying their needs.

Khetani also confirmed, though, that he and the members of his company are also against the efforts in Iraq which seems to contradict his first claim that the fired employee’s email didn’t represent the company.

"I will say this, my company most certainly doesn’t support the war, and we do hope that the policies will change. However the personal opinions stated by the former member of Discount-Mats.com were very strong and personal and other members within our company certainly feel that his actions were not justified. Our technical difficulties were experienced due to severe e-mail and phone call overload.

No disagreement with what their employee said (and there is some disagreement as to whether he was an an employee or an owner), only regret that he said it. And why couldn't they find someone to write this website in standard usage english?

Sounds like an apology to me. What were you expecting?

This my state and a huge local story. From what I've heard from local reports, this "employee" is not, he's an owner and was not fired. No one from this company will talk to local media. And this website is woe is me, why are you all picking on me.

Some sound research has shown that there is no "employee" who made remarks. The whole company consists of one 24-year-old Muslim guy. "They" is a single person, a young man who is being dishonest. "They" didn't fire anybody or the boss would have to fire himself.

Furthermore it appears that this young man and his Muslim buddies are running a lot of very odd websites and small companies, including this one. The suggestion has been made that there is enough that's suspicious about their websites and non-business businesses that someone at ICE should look into them.

That would explain why they refuse to give interviews to any media.

How about the "SORRY?" I don't see it there at all, do you? Maybe the words "we apologize" would help me a bit also. So the company "strongly disagrees with his views"? So they must strongly support the US effort is that what I'm expected to swallow?

Well, yes, actually. Must I post it for you, or can you find it on your own. Oh, wait, it's not in all caps. Be careful.
