THIS IS AN URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:
The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic is canceling our planned gathering at Upper Senate Park scheduled for 10 a.m. this Saturday, January 27, and will instead focus our efforts on the appearance at the Navy Memorial that morning by Jane Fonda for a so-called antiwar rally there.
We will gather at 9 a.m. and stay through Fonda's scheduled appearance at 10 a.m.
Please bring American and service flags, signs bearing messages of support for our troops, as well as signs denouncing Fonda and her band of traitors.
The following is the announcement by the sponsor of Saturday's larger 'antiwar' rally on the Mall about the Navy Memorial event:
10am: Women Say Pull Out! Women's Convergence for DC Mobilization
Join Jane Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Lynn Woolsey, Rhea Perlman, Eve Ensler, Mimi Kennedy, Q'orianka Kilcher, the Co-founders of CODEPINK and many other amazing women. Other co-sponsors include: National Organization for Women, V-Day, WAND, Feminist Majority, Feminist Peace Network and WATER. Don't forget your PINK!
Where: Navy Memorial, 7th and Pennsylvania NW
When: Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10am We will rally at 10am then meet up with the UFPJ rally and march!
The enemies of this nation are feeling so emboldened that they are confident enough to bring Jane Fonda to a MEMORIAL for the United States Navy. During the Vietnam war Fonda traveled to North Vietnam and posed with our enemy on an anti-aircraft battery used to shoot down our Navy pilots.
Please join us in protecting the honor and memory of the sailors and pilots of the U.S. Navy from Jane Fonda and those who support the enemy in this war.
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
We will be downtown all day as we also plan to counter-protest the 'antiwar' march after their rally on the Mall
Dress warm, it's going to be cold but dry.
Metro stations close to the Navy Memorial include Archives/Navy Memorial on the Green and Yellow lines, Gallery Place on the Red, Green and Yellow lines and Federal Triangle on the Orange and Blue lines. Street parking and garage parking is available.
Makes me want to fly to D.C. to protest -- cannot believe she has crawled out from under a rock. She was a traitor during the Vietnam War and looks like she is up to her old tricks. That woman is evil IMO!
They always say that.
A bunch of Skankenstein monsters all.
So, where's Cindy??
I'll be there in spirit
I wonder if John Kerry will be there.
If you look closely at Jane's face, she actually LOOKS somewhat Vietnamese in this picture!
JIHAD JANE!!!
Golll-lee she sure looks happy with those North Vietnamese, doesn't she? Smile for the camera, Jane, cause we're NEVER gonna let you forget what you did.
kristinn:
I would SO LOVE to join you! Alas, I'm in the other Washington. GIVE 'EM HELL FOR ME!
Is this why John Kerry decided not to run? He knew the DC Chapter would hammer him over Jane Fonda's appearance at this rally and it would all be one big flashback. Not even the hat would save him. :)
Ah Jane, when I was a young, stupid, liberal feminist I heard you speak at a meeting in Cincinnati.
Now I wish I could come to D.C. to PROTEST YOUR SORRY, TRAITOROUS, WORTHLESS BUTT!!!!
May take a couple of minutes to load up.
She hates all the Military.
That witch should have spent many years behind bars for what she did. I generally agree with forgiveness, but not for her.
What a moron! And then she comes back to the U.S. and makes a fortune in pictures. Well, Hollywood has its collective head up its ass.
Mimi Kennedy is on the left. Mystery les is on the right.
That's shocking. She's been known for crowds in the bedroom.
Generation X Y or Z?
Heck I'm a boomer and the leftists are wearing thin with ME.
Broad brushes aren't useful.
